In our trailer we have a map of the US and we add stickers to every state that we visit. However, we somewhat disagree what it takes to count a state. Iowa is one of the states that we disagree on. We spent less than an hour in this state on our way from Saint Louis, MO to Lincoln, NE. I do not think that counts but I am outvoted by the rest of the family :-)
During this drive we drover part of the way along the Missouri river which has recently flooded, a lot! We were warned that roads may be closed but our drove was fine. We could see though, how devastating this was for many of the farmers that we passed.
