Easter passed and the sun keeps shining

We have not done much lately. Simply enjoyed the forest and the weather, and seeing friends. Today we had to drop off the car at the mechanics because it only starts occasionally and that is not reliable enough for me. Especially since me and the children are going on a road trip soon to see cousin Ailo in Skåne and mormor and morfar on Fårö.

Marlee enjoyed it, too

Leaving Miami - Arriving in Stockholm

GLAD PÅSK!!    /    HAPPY EASTER!!

For a few days I had a migraine and luckily farmor was helping a lot with the children. I have never had such a bad headache. When it was finally gone we had some really good days before we left.

Marlee went out on the kayak with Alex and Alex's friend Albert (who is covered up to prevent sunburn). Before even getting in the kayak Marlee fell in the water :-) Luckily he was wearing a life west and did not get scared at all.

After he fell in the water (Albert in the background)

Getting ready!

Here we go!

Bye bye!
We took the chance to go in the jacucci a few times before we left. The water was somewhat heated up but only to the perfect swim temperature.

It is fun to go swimming!

Time to leave Miami (April 15th) and get up early.

Time to wake up boys!

On the plane between Detroit and Amserdam

Good movies!
 In Sweden!!

On the first day in Sweden we went to the forest next to mormor and morfar (where we are staying now) with mormor. Great sunny day!

The second day in Sweden was spent with Marlee's best friend Mobi. It was like they had never been apart.

Today, 3rd day in Sweden, was sunny and nice. Alex had the day off and we all went to a forest near by. Later Marlee was painting Easter eggs. We would have no Easter feelings if it was not for my mum who has decorated the house and left us some Easter eggs (with candy). The children will get theirs tomorrow :-)

Left Ormond to spend the last week in Miami

We left Ormond Beach late late Tuesday evening to spend the last week in Miami. We have enjoyed the time down here and the children love swimming in the pool. I even took Marlee out on a short kayak tour in the canal, which he really enjoyed :-) Both Marlee and Noah have been a little sick with fever and cold. Marlee has complained about his stomach, too. They seemed better today so I hope that tomorrow will be even better. I am getting really tired of them getting sick so much and I feel so bad for them!! Even the pediatric in Ormond said that this year has been worse then anything he had seem before, people have been sick so much. I wish I knew why that is...

Found the skin of a snake that Marlee played with :-)

I hope that they will always be this close <3

Fun in the pool!

Marlee is getting good at his snorkeling!

I do not normally take pictures of the children being sad or upset, it feels like I disrespect their feelings, but Noah is at the age when so many things are a tragedy and this picture really gives a good picture of the phase he is in. He is the kind of kid that will throw himself on the floor, which Marlee has never done, and he can do it for the smallest things - having to wear the "wrong" clothes, got the food cut (or not cut), could not play with the car key etc.

Great end on a very intense week

The past week we have pretty much spent all our time on moving out of the house. Alex has of course worked, too, but took one day off for packing and moving, in addition to all evenings. Luckily farmor has been helping a loooot with the children so that I could work more efficient at the house. Thursday was our worst day. We worked in the house until 1:30 in the morning, and poor Noah was with us because he refused to sleep. Now we are pretty much done except for the food in the fridge that we have not emptied yet, but the house is cleaned end reset to the original "layout".

Spending 10 minutes on the beach to regain sanity ;-)

Busy

I actually got up early one morning to see the sunrise. I am glad I did, but it is not something I would wake up for every morning :-)

Nice break from the packing - bbq with Deborah, Brad, Curren and Toca. Curren and Marlee played so good, it's like they know that they will not see each other for a while so they better take the chance to have fun together.
So what is so great about the end of this week? Marlee had a birthday party today!!!! We surprised him with renting a bounce house and he loved it!! We also had a Piñata and a Swedish fish pond :-) A great party with great friends!

Marlee and the Piñata

Noah got to try, too...

It was difficult to get a good picture of them in the bounce house but they both had so much fun!!
