Graduation(s)!

As always, time goes so fast and our coop school year has come to an end. However, our homeschool year is not over yet it is just no homework and only part of the subjects we need to keep working on. :-)

Some science project presentations from the last day of Blue Oak. Noah’s was on the water cycle.

Marlee’s was on volcanoes.

Noah had a fancy lunch with his manner and etiquettes class :-)

GRADUATION TIME!!!

Graduation from Blue oak…

Rafael is graduating 1st grade

Gabriel is graduating 3rd grade

Noah is graduating 5th grade

Marlee is graduating 7th grade

Our coop grew from about 20 families the previous school year to more than 40 families this year!!!

Graduating from Classical Conversations…

Noah had a presentation as Erik the Red from Norway. (We forgot the beard that we had purchased 😫)

Isn’t he so handsome!!

Rafael’s class presented Geometry and Rafael had the area of a triangle :-)

Gabriel’s class presented Newtons three laws of motion. He presented the third law of motion where each action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Noah’s class showed their grammar skills by parsing and diagramming as well as dressing up a boring sentence :-)

Time for Erik the Red :-) I’m so sorry but my phone did not want to record it 😢

Uncle Troy and aunt Polly came to the graduation to the kids’ delight! Alex had blocked off the original day and then they moved the date for the graduation :-( I’m so grateful they could come as it is not much fun to show their newly learned skills to me as I see it every week.

Last day of CC for this school year

Our school year is not over yet but our coops are. Our last day of CC was a very exciting one, but first some other random pictures.

Marlee and Noah with some of their friends in front of a fancy car they were all very impressed by. :-)

Noah helping Raffi with his reading ❤️❤️

David “reading” while going to sleep…

Part of preparing for the last day of cc was to create egg protectors as a science project.

Our last day of CC. Symphony and home made instrument presentations.

Raffi made a drum set

Gabriel made a pan flute

And then the very exciting egg protector test!! The fire department came with one of their fire trucks to drop the egg protectors from 25ft, 50ft and 75ft. Two of the boys made it to 75ft but their eggs did not make it from that height.

Field trip to Sea world!

The best field trip of the year - Sea world!!! I traded David for one of Gabriel’s and Rafael’s friend to make the trip a little easier on everyone. There is not much David can do at sea world and it would be very hard to bring him and still do things with the other boys. This way it turned out perfect. Everyone had a good day! We spent most of the day with another family, who has some of the boys’ best friends so that worked out very good. They have boys similar ages to us.

Going on the roller coaster in the kids area, Sesame
Street.

At the Orca show!!

Checking  out the penguins.

A well needed break! The older boys were running around on their own most of the day but they came to visit the smaller ones every ones in a while. When this picture was taken me and Gabriel spent 1,5h to wait in line for the biggest roller coaster he could go on, the ice breaker.

Gabriel at the ice breaker.

Back in Sesame street

Petting stingrays.

Waiting for the other boys going on the last ride of the day!!

These two were such troopers!!!
