Moster Linn and Ailo arrived last night...

...and I have borrowed a camera so that I can add some pictures of our day. :-)

Noah has not been himself the last few days. He has had some fever, does not eat very good and whines more than normal. He hardly whines at all normally... I hope that he will soon feel better but if not, we are going home in two days and I can take him to the doctor.

Went to the playground

Noah could enjoy the playground even if he is not feeling perfect

I love you, mamma!

My phone is dead = no pictures :-(

Yesterday my phone got a hang-up, the flash never turned off. Not surprising since Apple products never seem to impress me much and this is an I-phone but you should never loose hope... Anyways, after googleing the problem some and after some fixing and trixing my only option now seems to let the battery run dead and hope that the flash will stay off after charging it again. Sounded pretty easy, I thought... Last night, at about 8pm the phone died, but, the flash is still on, more than 24 hours later!!! However it is not as bright or intense now so I have not lost hope yet...

Last night my dad and I went on a Bergman safari (remember that man I mentions a few days ago). My mum took both Noah and Marlee and put them both to bed. Either they were behaving very good or she was doing very good because it worked great! We enjoyed the Safari and I manged to take some pictures (some are on Instagram) but during the event, the phone died and I cannot access any pictures or take any new ones. Very sad, but as I said, there is still hope!

Today we spent the day on the beach. My cousin and the children's second cousins are here now so Marlee has a play mate again. Tonight Linn is coming with Ailo and then we will have two days together before I go home on Tuesday.

Now I am going to check my phone again and hope to be able to share some pictures soon!

Ingmar Bergman and beach, and some trains and beach again...

There used to be a Swedish director named Ingmar Bergman who is known all over the world. He died a few years ago and spent his last 40 years on Fårö. Since his death For the last few years it has been a yearly activity in his memory and this year they have also built up a kind of museum here on Fårö (http://bergmancenter.se/). Mormor, Noah and I went to the inauguration of the Bergman center.

At the Bergman center

The children at the daycare here on Fårö sang a few songs

The weather got warmer than we expected and Noah used his pants to cover his head from the sun :-)

One of Ingmar Bergman's 10 grandchildren talked about his morfar

Back to the beach again!

Noah made his first real entry into the water the other day and really enjoyed it!

We built Marlee a pickup truck in the sand

Morfar is showing Marlee how to make a drop tower

Marlee learned quickly!

The day after it was built Marlee decorated it with all the beach toys :-)

Marlee fell out of bed the other night and he did not even notice it!

Being cold and tired on the beach (fog is coming in the back)

Cold and happy on the beach!

We are trying to take a picture for Noah's US passport..

The weather was not so great this morning so Marlee and mormor played with the train tracks (from when I was a child)

Took a short trip to the beach during late afternoon when the sun returned

Midsummer and more

This morning it was time for our last guests, including Alex, to leave. We have had a good time and below is a good summary.

Visiting Kneippbyn again, including the water park. I was very impressed by Alex who joined me and Marlee in the water slides even though the water was not heated, and therefore freezing, even for Marlee and I.

Alex and Marlee in the water park. Can you tell that the water is cold??!! ;-)

Last Friday was midsummer and we celebrated as normal. We ate the traditional food and made our own little Midsummer pole.

Friends visiting = lots of fun!!

As I mentioned last time my friend, Carin, came with her two boys, 3 and 5 years old. They are both rather energetic and work very well with Marlee. We had a great week with lots of fun and even though we stayed in our very small house here on Fårö it worked surprisingly good and I am very happy that they decided to come visit!

Carin, Ludwig and Felix left Monday morning and later the same day Alex arrived with Sofia, Aman and Mobi. Full house again! Good company!
