What a day!

We woke up a little earlier than normal this morning to help a friend to take her teenager to the doctor at drop in. Him, me, Marlee and Noah ended up waiting there for 1,5h! I went there with two healthy children (Marlee and Noah) and felt like it would be impossible to leave as healthy, since everyone else there was sick... Well, I am still hoping for the best! :-D Dropped off Marlee at the "daymum" after the doctor and went home for lunch and nap. No nap because I realised that I need to get a passport for Noah for our trip to the US. Left home to fix that before picking Marlee up again.

My next setback! I could to apply for a passport because Noah does not have a last name registered yet! Long story, but now we are trying to register him as Bolzius asap and then apply for a passport, hopefully on Monday. We will then change the last name when we get back again but at least we have a chance to make it to the US now :-D Alex is dealing with the air lines since the ticket is booked in Newman.

Below are some pictures of things happening since last time I wrote.

A day at the museum with Emily

Yesterday Marlee got to spend the whole day at the Technical museum in Stockholm where they have a toy exhibition for children. He went with our friend Emily and three of her exchange students who are living with her.

Heaven!!

Marlee's and Noah's cousin arrived Oct 23rd!!!!!!

So the cousin of Marlee and Noah arrived a few days ago, October 23. He was even taller than Noah, 54 cm (21,3 inches), but not as heavy. Welcome little prince and congratulations Linn and Johan!

The past week...

October 18 - Building with Duplo

Marlee really enjoys playing with his Duplo and now he has started to build things on his own without pappa being involved. It can end up being ... anything!

October 19 - Play date with Sigvard and Majken

My cousin Lisa came over with her two children who are about the same age as Marlee and Noah. We had a great day!

October 21 - Helpers

Our friend Emily has a few exchange students living in her house and last weekend they were so kind to come over and help out in the house and in the garden! We started and ended the day with icecream, first making it and then eating it :-) In the middle there was a pizza break.

Marlee made sure to do his part of the cleaning, too!

October 25 - Visited the Open preschool for the first time in a loooong time

Marlee's favourite song right now is American Baby with Dave Matthews Band.

October 26 - Doctors appointment and play date * 2

Started the day with a check up doctor's appointment for Noah. He passed all the tests - smiling, growing, holding up his head etc. He is a lot bigger than Marlee at this age, 6kg (11 lbs) and 60cm (23,6 inches) tall.

When we got home we had some friends over, first Linda with his two sons Arvid and Axel, and her husband Tomas. Then Petra with her two sons Benjamin and Liam. Both Linda's and Petra's sons are the same ages as Marlee and Noah so that is perfect! Here you can find a very cute picture of Marlee and Benjamin on Petra's blog: http://petras.devote.se/blogs/22825614/en-aktiv-dag.htm.

Later tonight Marlee, Noah and I was chilling infront of the TV watching X factor (like Idol). Marlee was dancing to every song. He later got to sleep in our bed so that I could organize Marlee's and Noah's closet and make space for all Noah's clothes. Now both princes are passed out and Alex will probably be home soon, he is over at a friends house. It is close to midnight so it is time for me to pass out, too :-)

HAIRCUT!

Today is a big day, Marlee got his first short-hair cut! But before releasing the pictures I would like to show you what else we did today.

Noah got a new overall

We have walked Bob today
and he got to stay in our
house for a while
 The Haircut...

It did not end up at all how I expected it to. It did get a lot shorter than I planned but I am still quite happy with the result :-)

Great day!

We have had a great family day, according to me. Me and the small boys started the day by baking chocolate chip cookies while Alex was doing "community fixing" in our neighbourhood with a lot of other neighbours. We took a walk serving cookies and coffee to the "workers" when the cookies were ready. Much appreciated! :-)

After lunch Alex and I worked in the garden while Marlee was napping. We haven't had much time lately to take care of it and it needed it!

Noah has been surprisingly satisfied today. It almost feels like it is a new phase, I am hoping!

Activities

Today we first went to a playdate with two other mums and their two sons. Same ages as Marlee and Noah. We all had a great time.

Later Sofia and Mobi came for a fancy dinner, leftovers from the past week :-) Marlee and Mobi had a pick nick in front of the fireplace after. Good night!
