Yesterday Marlee was standing on his own for the first time

Yesterday Marlee was standing on his own for the first time for about 10s!!! He did it a few times but unfortunately both the camera and videocamera was out of battery (they are both being charged now). Today he has not been very interested in doing it again so still no evidence... Today we spent the day baking and playing in the snow. There is so much snow!!! Marlee seems to enjoy it :-)

"Lussekatter", supposed to be for Christmas
but since I was not in Sweden then I just
thought I could make some now :-)

Snow, Snow and snow

It was getting warmer for a while and the snow was melting. Maybe some people thought that spring was coming. But they could not have been more wrong. A few nights ago we got 30cm (about a foot) of snow and everything was covered in white fluffy snow. Me like! We have been outside a lot playing in all kinds of ways in the snow. Below are some pictures of what we have been up to. Today it was -23C (-9,5F) when we woke up but the sun warmed it up pretty quickly. I was sitting in the sun reading a book while Marlee was sleeping in the stroller.

Starting to get back to normal

We have been home a little more than 2 weeks now and things are slowly getting back to normal here. Marlee's sleeping has gotten a lot better. He goes to sleep around nine every day now after going through the daily routine including pyjamas, porrige, brushing teeth and good night story. He is doing very good. He normally takes two naps during the day but we still have some work to do there. He also wakes up during the night but I hope that that, too, will change soon.

Marlee found the perfect toy when visiting his
Gammel mormor last week.

Yesterday we went snow racing with  mormor and morfar and tomorrow we are going to the open preschool to play with some other children. There is still a lot of snow here  but not so cold at the moment. Marlee seems to like the snow and it does not bother him that it is freezing cold.
