Family Camp Constitution

Another wonderful week up in the New Hampshire mountains with a lot of great people. Yesterday we sadly left our yearly Camp Constitution. Lots of learning, performances, swimming, Gaga ball, good food and fun.

We left last Saturday and did the 20h drive in two days. Slept outside Richmond, VA both on the way up and down. Had a very nice dinner at Friendly’s on the way up to make sure not all meals was fast food :-)

One afternoon activity at the camp was a tournament in “Four in a row”. Noah got 3rd place and David was a great helper! Marlee did very good at Gaga ball where he ended up on 4th place. It was between 30-40 kids participating in each tournament.

View from our window :-)

It can be exhausting to be at camp…

Marlee is representing the boys at the Jeopardy game during the last day. He did so good they said that he needed to stop answering questions 😂

During the last day of camp the Junior campers (age 4-12, but Marlee got excepted and was part of the “big” campers) parade in front of everyone. Unfortunately all the girl outfits has gotten lost somehow. The boys were so cute though!

Spunky the clown is also a very appreciated pet of the camp. This year he practiced juggling with Noah and made fun balloon creations for all the kids. Of course the were popcorn and cotton candy, too!

Graduation for the junior campers

We left yesterday and are almost home now!!

The covered bridge in Plainfield, NH.

Washington Bridge in NYC.

Delaware memorial bridge.

We will be home in less than an hour now and will unpack a little before getting Bubbles who has stayed with a dog sitter, a girl who used to babysit the boys.

Happy Independence Day (a little late)

We had a great time in Madison, FL, with family and even another family that we have met through Alex’s work. So much delicious food! There might seem to be a little too many pictures of the four wheelers but it was mainly what we did (thanks to Aunt Cindy and Uncle Danny!!).

Got this picture in a text from Uncle Troy, from his and Aunt Polly’s visits to Madison, where he wrote “ Such an adorable little boy ❤️….that little baby ain’t bad either 😂”. Ha ha ha!!

All the cousins on one of the four wheelers. Only Marlee ha missing :-(

Water baloon fight with uncle Cory :-)

The dirt road by our land is so beautiful! It’s the best place to take pictures. If only I had had the good camera with me then I am sure the kids would all have smiled at the same time! Lol!

I took all of them on a ride just to go to the dirt road and take pictures. So much fun!!

Noah got to try by himself!!! Even Gabriel got a short turn by himself.

Our yearly tradition of Uncle Danny bbq:ing the Independence dinner while the rest went zip lining :-)

The little town of Madison has great fireworks so we all went down town to see them.

Before leaving some of us went to Blue Spring in Madison so clean off a little. When we are in Madison we don’t really care about black feet and dirty hair so getting clean by jumping in the spring feels like proper shower 😂

Back in Ormond and beach day with some friends down in Ponce inlet. The beach down there is so beautiful!

The kids caught some minions and sand fleas. Raffi to the right.

Took a little visit to our land in de Leon springs.

A birthday party at De Leon Springs state park. So nice and refreshing to sw in the spring!

David has made our ikea stool in the kitchen his only little table :-)

Yesterday, in between packing, taking the dog to the dog sitter and getting shoes for Marlee and Noah we all made it to the beach.

Rafael lost another tooth yesterday, his third. Here his is trying to show his “glugg” (the space where the teeth are missing) but it is not really working 😂

As I am writing this we are on the way to New Hampshire for camp constitution!!! That is real vacation for me because the food is served, the rooms are being cleaned by someone else and the kids have a lot of fun things to do. More of the camp in my next post.
