Noah has started to say a few words!!! And Marlee is doing his first proper crafts!

There have been a few exiting days lately. Both Noah and Marlee has shown some new "skills" and they have both impressed me :-) Noah has (finally) started to say a few words repeatedly. Mainly "mamma", "baby" and "hej". Today he has been saying "bye bye", too, and he can surely say "pappa" but he does not want us to know... If he says it and realizes that we heard it he quickly starts saying "mamma" instead!? He has such a sense of humor!

He is also fake sleeping a lot of times when I am about to take him out of the car. I am quite impressed that he knows how to fake sleep but I guess he learns quickly from Marlee :-) Hoping to show you a video of Mr Fake Sleeper soon!

I asked him to take out the binkey so that I could take a picture, and he did :-)

This could have been Noah's bike but I found it where my parents' little townhouse is!

Marlee has done some nice craft work with beads lately. He has never done that before but last weekend he and Mobi did some and he really enjoyed it. He quickly made a necklace for himself (a little too pink if you ask Alex :-) and a necklace and bracelet for his previous "day mum", Annelie, who we visited  last week. I was very impressed by their patient when beads fell off over and over again and some bead were really difficult to get onto the string.

Full concentration!!!

Finished his own necklace and started on Annelie's

Noah is doing craft work, too :-)

As I mentioned we visited Annelie last week and Marlee was so exited. He had a great day!!! We first met he at a playground and both her two youngest sons came (about ten and 13) to see Marlee!!One of his friends, Vinzent, came to give him a big hug, too. That felt so good for a mamma :-) After the playground Marlee was invited to come with Annelie and have lunch and play there so me and Noah went home and went back to pick him up later. He wanted to go back the next day... Well, that did not work but we are hopefully going to see here some day this coming week and after that she goes on vacation.

Going to sleep with Teddy

Great fun in the bathtub!

I have no idea why but Noah kept lifting his chair up and down his bed...

Today I was selling some of our things at a flee market and Alex and the boys came with me to set it up. Alex took the chance to look around and found a whole IKEA bag filled with old and new train tracks!!!!!!!!!!! We got it and what a bargain! Not sure who it enjoyed the most, Alex, Noah or Marlee... :-) There are parts that I have never seen before and there are old parts that I use to have when I was a kid (which are now on Fårö).

This picture shows about half of the pieces that we bought!

Midsummer

Yesterday was Midsummer. Not exactly the longest day of the year, which is today, but it is always celebrated on a Friday so I guess it was the longest Friday this year :-) We celebrated Midsummer with Sofia and Mobi and traditional dancing around the Midsummer pole. Whoever knows "Små grodorna" (The small frogs) can enjoy the video below! It might be enjoyable even if you don't know it :-) I am not very proud of my performance but I enjoy having fun with the children :-)

The day before Midsummer was rainy but children don't mind some water!

Who's got the cutest tongue!?

The Swedish National Day celebration

June 6 is the National Day in Sweden and we spent it with Sofia and Mobi. We had a great day with lots of fun and the boys were so sweet! On the train on the way to Mobi Marlee told his life story for a lady sitting next to us and when we got off he gave her a big hug! :-) Sometimes he is really generous with his hugs and sometimes he does not want to share them at all...

Long time no ... time...

A lot of things have happened since last time I wrote and I am not sure which one is the most startling happening - first swim for the summer, my friend's wedding, Alex going to Copenhagen for work, moving into our house... or... that the boys fell asleep before 7:30pm tonight!!!! Maybe they could feel my need for a "break" after a rather tough day trying to unpack, move in and handle two pretty winey boys. I am sure all the moving is tough on them and they are doing good but today was not one of our best days. Looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

Walking a "baby"

Look at this teamwork!!!

Enjoying the view at my uncle's place in Stockholm

Stick horse riding!
