Playing and exploring

Yesterday and today were both very busy with fun activities. We had the great pleasure to spend the afternoon yesterday with a friend of mine who lives in Oslo (Norway) and her children. We all went to a big, very good, playground in Stockholm. We all had great fun and I realized that Marlee is a very good climber. I guess we all knew that, but I mean on climbing walls! As far as I know he has never done it before and he just went up as it was nothing. I used to be a climber myself and I miss it a lot, but now I have a good reason to start again :-)

Today has been a nice sunny day but windy. It was a local festival in Kungsängen, 20 min from here, so we all went there. Marlee got to explore a military vehicle and a firetruck!

After having a decent amount of people and social life we went back home to our quite neighborhood. Marlee and I cleaned out the "hot tub" outside and later we all went to enjoy the sun on the rocks.

Big day for Marlee!

The day today started out with a visit to the dentist. It was the first check up for Marlee and he did very good! All 20 teeth were in place and clean :-)

The second big thing that he did today was to visit Småland at Ikea, which is the play area  for children where they can be while the parents go shopping. He has never been there before but he was not afraid to stay there at all and had lots of fun. When I was done shopping and picked him up after about 30 min we had some yummy meatballs.

Home again

(One day late again... hope to get my computer back soon ;-) 

So we are back home again. Always good to be home but we have had a great week. Noah have made big progress and is a lot more mobile now. He is always eating a lot better even if I have not found any fruit that he likes yet and he needs that to absorb the iron better. We're working on it! It was a lot fun to watch Noah and Ailo "playing". They are really interested of each other.  I can't wait to have access to my computer so that I can post all the cute videos I have. They are piling up...

Yesterday on Fårö was a rather foggy day but it also made it look very beautiful outside, almost mystic. We all took a long walk, partly through a sheep pasture.

Rock climbing

(Two days late)

Today was a rather chill day. It started out pretty rainy but ended nice and sunny. Linn, me and the children went on a small trip to Digerhuvud, a rocky coast near by. It was quite a nervous experience for me as Marlee was climbing the big rocks. Both me and Linn were carrying a baby each and could not keep up with him. Just made sure to keep him off the highest and steepest rocks. Guess it is payback time for what I put my parents through as a child.. (I loved climbing these rocks)

Today was a very good day regarding food. It has been good in other ways, too, of course, but especially the food. Noah has eaten two proper meals, broccoli, potatoes, corn, and the secret is to mix it with Digestive crackers :-)

Going on a small trip

At the moment I am on Fårö with the children, together with mormor, morfar, aunt Linn and cousin Ailo. We drove here yesterday from Skåne, where Linn lives and where we had celebrated Ailo with a naming ceremony.

The day before we went down to visit Linn was my birthday and we had a great garden dinner with some friends and family. 

Apart from all these family activities we have seen friends and done garden work the past week.
