Junibacken

Marlee and I have had a great day! We went to "Junibacken" together with a lot of other mums and children from our hometown. Junibacken (http://www.junibacken.se/lang/english) is like a big museum for children mainly focusing on books by Astrid Lindgren (author of Pippi Longstocking) but also other Swedish Childrens' books. They have built up scenaries from the books and there is a little "train" that you can take that passes through different fantasy worlds. Marlee really enjoyed exploring both the world of Jan Lööf as well as Pippi's house (with a big slide!)

First it was a little scary and he did not want to go on it but then it was just "Again" and "Again" and "Again" :-D

Poop face

We have started the potty training but so far with no great success. At the moment we are not trying very hard but planning on doing so when summer comes. However, yesterday Marlee wanted to go on the big toilet and he did practise his poop face even if it did not end up in a "delivery". :-)

Mulle

Most of the time Marlee is very active (in his bed) until the second he falls asleep which makes him end up sleeping in all kinds of strange positions. The other day he feel asleep sitting up but unfortunately I did not get a picture of that.

A day at the daymum

Last Thursday I went with Marlee to the daymum to spend half the day with the children and the three daymums who work together. Normally Marlee goes to the day mum Mondays and Tuesdays and on Tuesdays they have "Mulle"*, which means that they bring picknick and go to the forrest where they learn about the forrest and nature. The last week they did not have Mulle on Tuesday but Thursday so Malee's daymum asked if we did not want to join. It was a lot of fun for me to be there with them and see what they do since it is always Alex dropping Marlee off and picking him up normally. This day in the forrest they learned about which things belong in the forrest, such as flowers, leaves, sticks etc, and which things do not, such as cans, paper, plastic etc. After talking about that the children got to walk around and pick upp things that did not belong in the forrest (that the daymums had spread out).

* Mulle is actually a fantasy figure living in the forrest who looks after the animals and the forrest and this day he came to visit the children which he only does twise a year. Unfortunaltey, I do not want to post any pictures of "our" Mulle and the children since I have not asked them if it is ok but here is a picture of Mulle.

Yesterday me and Marlee went to see Sofia and Mobi at a cafe. After that we went home to them to play and have some dinner. Good afternoon! And watch matching boys we had!! :-)

Last day of Easter

Last day of holiday!

Started the day with a bath!
Then it was time for lunch - soup and waffels
(with mormor's homemade bluberry jam...)
There are better jams to server with waffels...
...but maybe not as yummy...
Maybe I should have taken the bath AFTER having lunch
...with blueberry jam..
Went to the playgound today, too,
so now I am sleeping like a baby!!
(after taking off my pyjamas...)

Easter

Easter has been celebrated at home. Alex has mostly been working and I have mostly cleaned the house :-) But, of course, we have had some good times with friends and family, too.

Tuesday before Easter, our neightbour, Emily came by with a birthday gift for Marlee. This video is for her :-)

Marlee has decorated the trees in "down town Bro" with the other children at the daymum. One of these chickens is his.

Having a little picknick in the garden when the weather was nice!
