Let us wake up happy and healthy tomorrow...

The last few days started out ok considering the packing and moving out of the house. We had some extra things to deal with in addition to the normal, such as service the car, deal with a broken AC, deal with possibly broken sprinklers and getting rid of furniture.

Riding in the big boy car seat in the truck

Getting my nails done

"Last supper" with some of our friends. Yes, that is a big big pizza
The plan was to leave Saturday afternoon after one of Marlee's friend's birthday parties. I ended up staying home with Gabriel packing, while Alex took Marlee and Noah to the birthday party. We were then starting to get kind of stressed about getting everything in order to leave that day. When the boys came back home after the party Marlee started to feel bad again! and this time it was not only fever and headache, he also was nauseous and ended up barfing. After googling his strange symptoms we decided to take him to the doctor. I took him and Gabriel with me while Alex kept packing.

The doctor could not identify what he had but he got antibiotics. Long story, but he ended up barfing in the car two times and we made it down to Miami, arriving at 3 in the morning (today).

Today we have enjoyed the pool but the boys have been a little strange. Marlee has been the only one feeling all good today (so strange!). Noah has barfed and did not really want to eat much today. We hope that it was due to swallowing too much water in the pool though. Gabriel was so relaxed in the pool and was just laying in the floaty thing he ended up having fever later and still does. Alex have been feeling bad today too, but is a little better now.

Being brave with uncle Cory

So relaxed! Look at those little toes!

He was laying like this the whole time and did not move at all. He normally splashes and kicks a lot...

Noah just left the room after getting some snacks after the pool and I found him sleeping in our bed a little later

Lets hope that we can all get some good sleep now and wake up happy and healthy tomorrow morning so that we can get on the plane to Sweden.

Good friends prevent us from going crazy ;-)

It is difficult to pack and stay sane with three kids in the house! Even if they are the most wonderful kids in the world! But we are lucky.. Several friends are helping us out by watching the kids or moving boxes so we manage to only go slightly insane ;-) So far we have packed about 40 boxes (most of them rather small) and my guess is that there are about 10-15 more. We hope to be done by tomorrow afternoon/night and we have a pizza date planned with some friends.

While we have kept the focus on the packing Marlee has actually been feeling bad two nights. He has had some fever and just wanted to lay down. It's been gone in the morning. Strange!

I don't remember if I mentioned that Gabriel has entered a new phase. He now cares who is holding him and if I am around. While it feels good to get the confirmation that I am important to him it is so much easier when pretty much anyone can take him without him reacting at all.

The second day of Garage sale was hot!!

Marlee having a fever :-(

So cute!!!

And so good!!

Some packing, some playdates, some craziness, some guests and then garage sale!

The moving stress has started, not only including packing, planning and preparing, but also saying good bye and making sure to see all the people we want to see before we leave.

Farmor (and farfar for a few days) was up here for a little more than a week to help us get some fixing done in the house but has now returned to Miami. Aunt Jackie and Uncle Doug have also been here for a few days and returned today. They mainly helped us to prepare for the garage sale that we had today. My very first garage sale!

Doing craft

Playdate at home

Making fudge!

Lota of fun in the pool!! After trying a lot of different floaties for babies this is favorite for Gabriel!

Boys night out
Alex, Marlee and Noah went to see some kind of dirt bike race with a friend and his two kids. Me and Gabriel stayed home and enjoyed some quite time in the house :-) The boys came home at 11:30, a WIDE AWAKE and so exited about what they had seen! :-D

We are staying home

One of those days

It all started last night when I was going to bed. Gabriel woke up, about midnight, which is totally normal. He ate but did not want, or could not, go back to sleep. He went from happy, to sad, to angry, to happy, to sad, to angry... I tried everything I could think of but he just did not want to sleep. Finally some time after three in the morning he past out in the swing. I passed out on the couch next to it. He slept until eight when Marlee and Noah woke up. I was very tired but had not option but to get up.

Gabriel almost falling asleep on mamma

Most days I feel like I can handle three kids pretty good but today was not one of those days... We went to our weekly Tuesday playdate in Andy Romano. As soon as we got there I felt like going home. Gabriel was not happy (probably just very tired) and Noah seems grumpy, too. He cheered up after a while though and ended up playing soccer with Marlee and another boy. We did not end up staying very late but went home after about an hour to have lunch.

Well at home I "made" lunch (heated up left over pizza) and got ready to go to Daytona to get new glasses. A boy down the street was babysitting Marlee and Noah. It is actually one of our pastor's sons and Marlee and Noah loves him. They were so exited!

Went to Daytona with Gabriel where I ordered some new glasses. The boys have broken mine and I have had them taped for weeks, and it still works! :-)

Helping mamma to chose frames for her eyeglasses
I found some nice frames for my new glasses which was probably my biggest accomplishment today.. Later today/tonight I went to a book study with my MOPs group which was very nice. Still very intense with the boys and it was nice to get home again. They all fell asleep very good! Alex is in Wisconsin for a few days so the boys fell asleep in our bed :-)

Yesterday was a better day that we spent mostly at home. Partly doing crafts (my favorite :-)

Beach weather

I think that we can officially say that summer is here. It is hot! It is too hot if you ask me. It is great and awesome... if... you can be on the beach, in the water. But, if you try to do something outside that does not involve being in the water it is almost unbearable, at least for a Swede. That is why I prefer to avoid the Florida summer. However, we have been able to spend a lot of time by a pool or in the ocean later and it has been wonderful. Today was probably the best of them all, lots of friends on the beach, smooth water, no current and happy kids!

This morning Gabriel properly crawled for the first time!

Before going to bed he also ate something else than milk for the first time!!! I have tried with different purees and cereal/porridge for a couple of weeks but he has rejected them all. Until today, he happily ate 10-15 (very small) spoons of cereal mixed with pear puree. Maybe he will start sleeping better if he can eat some before bedtime, or rather eat less during the night.

This guy loves to eat sand!! I am just busy making sure he does not catch a sea shell or sea weed.

Noah has not wanted to go in the (ocean) water lately. I have tried in all kinds of ways but he has rather stayed dressed on shore. Today he made big progress though and I finally managed to trick him into the water and managed to make him stay in the water until he only had fun and forgot about his anxieties.

Noah has fun on the beach with a friend (fully dressed)

This dude know how to eat with his whole body, and he was not even playing with the food...

Putting bath bubbles in the pool was a good idea!

Two friends slept over last night and we had a FULL HOUSE

Beach today!!!

Look at this guy who did not even want to touch the water!!

I am awake and I am ready for the beach!

Gabriel loves the water!!
