We miss you already Pappa!

Alex had to go back home to Bro again and we drove him to Visby to catch the ferry back. On the way there we made a few stops in Ar.

Me and the boys stayed in Visby for a while after we had said good bye to Alex.

On the way back to Fårö Noah asked if we were driving back to Alex again, I think he was hoping that we were.

Well back on Fårö we all went down to the beach to eat som fruit salad and play kubb. Me and Noah were on one team but Marlee won! He is pretty good!!

A great day except for pappa leaving!!

Bad day good day

So yesterday was a rainy but we tried to have a pic nic before it came. We did not really make it and finally had to give up and get back in the car..

Well, that was yesterday and today is today.. Lately I feel like a spend way too much time arguing and being upset about Marlee and his behavior. Today was different though. We have had a great day with adventures and fun. Alex set his work aside and joined us for most of the day. Marlee's and Noah's friend Victor has spent the day with us and maybe he just had good influence on Marlee :-)

They believe that they are digging to China (I have drawn a digging-map with a dragon half way :-)

Lunch - "fil och flingor" as always during the summer

Beware of low flying parent!! (in the back)

Watching surfers

A weird looking apple tree. Growing next to the ocean so the wind probably prevents it from growing tall

In the spooky forest by the light house on Fårö

Who said that you cannot surf in Sweden!
One of the guys got a really good ride that I missed unfortunately.

It has been a long day!

I love the nature here!!

Playing and spending beautiful evenings on the beach

We have not had any really good beach days lately but we have still spent some time on the beach and some time doing other things. Mormor and morfar has left to go see cousin Ailo and will be back in about a week.

Playing together - it does not feel like they have done that much lately

I am here, behind the glass door!!

Time for a before-bedtime-swim

The newest Viking - the water is about 68F/20C but he loves it!

These guys make sure we get all the toys down to the beach and back :-)

In the loving memory of my farfar Sven

Yesterday evening my dear, and always so positive and grateful, farfar (grandpa) Sven passed away. He was 93 years old and died of age. He will be greatly missed by a lot of people. He loved children and always had great stories to tell.

Unfortunately I do not have any great pictures of him available right now but I am posting what I have.

I hope he will rest peaceful in heaven!

Pappa is here!!!

And I would not have any pictures of him if it was not for Marlee who took my phone today and took some pictures :-)

Alex arrived to Visby last night so me and all the boys picked him up. Marlee and Noah were so exited!! I am very happy to have him here, too.

The same day morfar had to go back to Stockholm because my farfar (his dad) has gotten very sick. He is old and we are not sure if he can fight it..

My friend Johanna left the island today so we went over to her to say good bye and the boys played some tennis with her and her nephew who is Marlee's age

Lazy day with a beutiful ending

The weather has not been great but and we have not done much. Marlee has been out picking both mushrooms and blueberries with mormor and I have baked cookies. The sun appeared in the evening and Noah and Gabriel walked down to the beach with me and morfar after dinner. It was really beautiful down there and the boys had so much fun in the water! I never planned for Gabriel to get in but I could not stop him, he kept crawling towards the water every time I put him down (like a little turtle) so I finally took his clothes off  and let him get in.
