Spa for mamma and basket ball for (some of the) the boys

I ended January with a spa day in Ponce Inlet with some friends. It was a wonderful day with good food, a pedicure and great company.

Before the month was over me and Alex went to Orlando for an event where he was the facilitator. And we left all the kids with some friends in Ormond, who also have four children, except, they have three under 4 years old! Here are some pictures they sent us. Seems like the boys had a great time!

A big slumber party with small guests

Homeschooling at its best!? Gabriel is practicing reading and Rafael is playing with my hair.

Alex took Gabriel to the barber, who did not want to cut his hair because it was too long. He recommended another barber so Alex and Gabriel went over there. The new barber kept talking about how great he was and this was the result!!!

MacGyver style!!!

I had to adjust it a little to make him look reasonable, lol!

Our own little cowboy!

Art time at the coop :-)

Marlee and Gabriel wanted to play basket ball this semester so that's what they did.

Back to Ormond

Alex got back to Miami and we all headed back to Ormond to get ready for the next school semester and back to normal life again.

Two sleeping beauties :-)

Watching the sun rice for one of my friend's birthday. Beautiful and very cold.

Back to school!

Gabriel's and Rafael's class.

Caterpillar in our front yard

This boy never stops to surprise me with is outfits!!

Sitting in the window when we leave the house

This boys stopped wearing diapers and is here putting a sticker on his "no accidents" report!

A sticker means no accidents that day. He stopped both day and night!

We passed around some kind of bug in our family and stayed away from everyone and everything for a while. We all got antsy by being at home so much we decided to go to Tomoka state park and explore a little and get fresh air. It is such a nice place!

Natural tree swing

Cool Coral Castle in Homestead, FL

While Alex went for a short trip to Illinois, me and the boys stayed in Miami and explored some new areas. One of them was Coral Castle in Homestead. A really cool, and mysterious place. It was built by 5ft tall Mr Ed, from Latvia, who left his home country because of a broken heart. It took him 28 years to build his castle and he was still building when he died in 1951. No one ever saw him building and it is believed that he normally worked during the night.

This stone can be turned, one of very smart solutions Mr Ed made

Bye to Aunt and Uncle and Hello Terje and Berta

It is 2020!! We started the year with some more crafting and building electrical circuits :-)

Noah made this nativity scene without any help or instructions!! I like Jesus's eyes :-)

More art from all of us

Lizzy is helping Gabriel and Andy building an electrical circuit

The last day for Uncle Danny and Aunt Cindy in Miami so most of us went for a walk to the neighborhood playground. The boys always love seeing them, we all do!

Eli and Marlee

What a nice big brother!

And what nice Aunt and Uncle!

Marlee caught a fish, but too small to keep

Me and the boys went to Pinecrest Gardens the next day. Lots of beautiful flowers and turtles, but also two trolls were visiting the gardens - Terje and Berta, designed and built by a Danish artist.
