Rain, rain, go away, or stay..

May has been really rainy here, which I don't mind at all. And the kids don't either :-) A couple of weeks ago we had three (!!) birthday parties to go to but the rain changed that - one party was cancelled, one was moved into a gymnastic place and the third one was executed as planned, despite the rain. And it was great fun!!

At the splash park in rain :-)

Can you find Rafael, Gabriel and Marlee?

"I ate most of it!"

Last week Marlee and Noah prepared goodie bags for homeless people that we keep in the car. If they see any to give them to, we just stop and give them one. So far we have only given it to one person, a young woman.

Last week we also had to go down to Miami so that I could do a new passport. By a coincident a childhood friend of mine, who I haven't seen in 8 years was in Miami that week and we were able to meet up with her family. It was so great to see them. I had never met his husband before, only her three kids. Her youngest is one day older than Marlee.

With my friend at Sky zone

Marlee and Noah "decorated" Gabriel while he was sleeping, Lol!!
Last weekend was the Home school convention in Orlando, one of, if not the, biggest home school conventions in the US. We had a chance to go one of the days and farmor watched all the boys, with some help from farfar, too :-) It was so much fun!!! I listened to several presentations and looked at a lot of material. I could have spent all our money on school stuff. They had so much fun stuff!

Coffee, apple, notebook, and me (all by myself)

Memorial Day with family (and Thomas the Train) Lol!!!
Lately, I have been very busy preparing workbooks and material for the next school year since we wont be in the US part of it, and I don't know what possibilities I will have to print things. It is so much fun but it also takes a lot of time.

Today Marlee and Noah learned to write simple graphs, based on the "speed match" they have done this past semester. I was impressed with them, especially Noah, that they grasped the concept so quickly.

I got totally spoiled...

...last weekend. Saturday was my birthday and Sunday was Mother's Day. My birthday started out with breakfast in bed :-) I got a new bike so we all biked to a restaurant for lunch. It was so nice! Alex and I had planned dinner out while a neighbor girl was watching the boys. When we arrived to the restaurant several of our friends were there. Alex had organized a surprise dinner!!! :-D It was so much fun!! Three other couples came with us home after so we even had an "after party". Lol!

Birthday lunch

Surprise dinner!!! Thank you my wonderful Darling!!!

Mother's Day I spent in church, at a nice lunch with my family and then napping. A very relaxing day! Just what I need after getting one year older!

The weather has warmed up so a car wash was a great task for the boys!

Some of them rather went in the pool :-)

Raffi can wash cars, too!

More beach days...

A friend of the kids started a bike club last week. We all met at a park and they had so much fun!

One of our friends were in an outdoor play, Wizard of Oz, and it was so much fun to watch.

They are all playing together, not sure that has ever happened before!!!

A friend who moved to Oklahoma a while ago came back to visit. That resulted in a girls night out :-)
The past week has included a lot of rain as well as some sickness. Mainly Gabriel and Rafael who has had fever and cough. Last night was pretty bad I am hoping that it is pretty much gone now.

The rain keeps falling and today Gabriel and Rafael enjoyed running in it. Every time we heard the thunder Rafael ran back to me. He is so cute!

Nice and dry inside, at least dry clothes!

Our official school year is over... (2/2)

...but we are still doing school at home... but we are also going to the beach more. Probably because the weather got warmer. I have truly loved the weather lately it is nice with beach days, too :-)

Beach day with friends

Alex was out of town and one of my close friends were out of town so me and her husband decided to meet at the beach. Perfect, to be able to help each other with the kids :-)

Alex had a speech in Gainesville (where he used to study at the University of Florida, UF). Marlee stayed and listened to the speech and me and the rest of the boys went to a great playground.

I love Rafael's face in this picture
So our Thursday coop, CC, does a beach day every Thursday during the summer, instead of school. It is so much fun!!

Find Noah and Marlee
Warm weather and we have visited the pool again, first time this year. So nice!!!

The second graduation/promotion. Our Friday coop, Blue Oaks.

The pre-K class, can you find Gabriel?

The Kindergarten class, can you find Noah?

2nd grade, can you find Marlee?

All the kids together :-)

Noah with one of his best friends

I asked Marlee and Noah to get some of their friends in a picture :-)

Marlee and Noah have been working hard lately on a "secret hide out" in the back, hammering and stapling.

It is not only the homeschool coops that have had graduations, Trail life has, too. Marlee and Noah got their badges for fire and knife competency.

More pool fun

:-)

Now we are up to speed again, but I will post some videos next, that I won't have time for today. Have a great sleep!
