Coming home and meeting the brothers...

Observing his brothers.
3 months today!!!

While we were waiting for David... (Part 1)

David will (very) soon be three months so i thought it could be a good idea to give you some small glimpses of what we did the last few months before he was born.

October 2020 - Amazing fortes were built in the playroom. They were even big enough for all four brothers to sleep in!!

October-December 2020 - Great memories were made at the soccer field when all boys played soccer and we spent 3-5 nights a week there... (Pic 1 Gabriel in blue shorts, pic 2 Raffi, pic 3 Marlee in black jersey)

November 2020 - In our Mission to serve coop we made Samaritan's purse shoe boxes with Christmas gifts. Me made tie dye shirts to put in the boxes.
Beach walk with farmor
A friend of ours graduated and threw a party. Lots of fun and Rafael literally danced until he dropped.
Gabriel is such an interesting child. He is extremely independent. He always wakes up first and he either make himself breakfast or he does some kind of craft. He has taught himself some more try advanced origami by watching YouTube.
As i got bigger and bigger Marlee and Noah helped out with the book reading when Alex was gone. They did a great job! Lizzy got to be part of the reading when Marlee was doing it.
To be continued...

Family visit

As I mentioned farmor and farfar came up for a week, they left yesterday. We got some appreciated help with the kids and garden, and also a lot of good food!! The kids had several sleep overs, which they were mighty excited about :-) If only I had gotten some pictures!!! My only guess is that since I knew they would be here for a while I postponed the photographing and here we are... They left and no photos were taken... Aunt Cindy and Uncle Danny came for a day, too, and I did get pictures of them. Since i had a time limit i made sure to take the chances i got. David gave me a great opportunity to forever prove that Aunt Cindy has an amazing ability to be smiley and cheerful dispite the fact that both her pants and shirt has a significant amount of baby poop on them...

CC graduation

Last Thursday was the graduation ceremony for our CC coop. My class (9-12 year olds) read a paper on a prominent American they had picked (we have done American history this year). Marlee picked Harriet Tubman. She had to dress as a man sometimes to accomplish her mission to rescue slaves so Marlee choose to dress like that :-) Unfortunately, he forgot his hat at home. All classes sang our different  time line songs in between other activities.

Rafael's class

Gabriel's class (they were missing four students and the tutor)
Noah's class (they were missing two students)
Marlee's class (the smallest class, one is missing)
I don't have a picture of my class, which is a combination of kids from other classes, but you can see who they are based on how they are dressed :-) I have three in Noah's class (not Noah) and all in Marlee's class.

Marlee reading his essay about Harriet Tubman.
The kids singing one of the timeline songs
It was a great graduation and farmor and farfar are up visiting so we even had family to come see it!! :-)

Life with David (part 2)

With David being pretty chill and with so many wonderful mamas around me who loves to snuggle with him it has been pretty easy to go back to doing our activites again.

Field trip to Washington Oaks Garden (the beach side) with our CC coop.

Easter with gifts and crafts. We went to two different Easter events, too, but no pictures from that.

Having friends over is always like a party when you have five kids. Lol!  The little girl next to Rafael is one of Rafael's best friends, if not the best, and they play SOOO good together. It is a lot of pretend plays. For example rafael was a vet one time and she brought him sick animals to heal. Of course he still doesn't like girls if you ask him 😁

I do not know if he is growing faster than the others or if it is just me paying closer attention, but it is going way too fast!!! ❤️

Back at Washington Oaks gardens but this time with the family only and pretty crummy weather..

Guess who is the most popular guy at coop!!!

Packing food for poor families in Volusia county with our Mission to Serve coop. Marlee is putting lard in containers. He said it was disgusting! The food mainly goes to Mexican families so we packed lard and corn flour. Tomorrow some of the boys are going to pack beans and rice. Noah was part of the corn flour group :-)

We had our last day of our CC coop last week and Marlee's class practiced for their graduation presentation where they will read a paper on a prominent American of their choice. Msrlee picked Harriet Tubman who was born a sleeve, managed to escape and then we're able to rescue a lot of slaves. Luckily for Marlee she dressed as a man many times go be able to complete her mission :-)

Last weekend we went a "Spring fling" event at some friends' church in New Smyrna. It was a lot of fun and they had a "fiskdamm"!! A typical activity at Swedish birthday parties (for kids).

They also had a dunk tank where the different pastors got dropped in the water tank if the kids hit the right spot with the ball.

I will end this post with some pictures of the land we hope to close on very very soon!!!!!

Okay, just one more baby pic :-)
