School year is over and summer has begun

Yes, summer has started, and it is hot!!! We have done some beach days and sleep overs. Father’s Day went by and we celebrated Alex. It ended up being a day with friends and good food :-)

David keeps charming everyone, even his brothers who lets him pretty much whatever he wants with them.

Watching TV. David doesn’t normally watch for very long but it makes my heart melt when I see him snuggle his brothers.

Father’s Day!!! We love you Alex!!! Marlee had prepared Alex's gifts a long time ago. Lots of freeze dried survival food :-)

Visit to our property in De Leon Springs and our baby bull!! The first calf born on our property and it is ours!! The only one that is our in the herd.

The heat has been pretty intense lately and the county has limited the reclaimed water access that normally waters. Consequently we have to water it with the drinking water, too. The boys have had fun in the sprinkler!! They cannot play in the reclaimed water since it can contain bacteria etc so they are not used to this :-)

David at the yearly Florida TARS (teenage Republicans) meeting in Orlando. Marlee stays very involved and we do our best to support him.

Bible study with some friends about baptism and beach visits. This day at the beach there was a shark (about 5ft long) swimming in the middle of all the people where it was less than 2ft deep. My friend kept following it to warn people in its way while I let the life guard know. The shark even swam into the leg of a woman who didn’t see it but it Fl didn’t do anything, just kept swimming. It really looked like a horror move but without any horror. :-)

This little guy loves to empty things and sit inside of things so emptying a drawer to sit inside it seems like the perfect idea!

Thank you mormor and morfar for bringing me Smörgåsrån!!

Yesterday we made a bunch of “kanelbullar”. So delicious!! We brought them to a bbq date at the beach with a bunch of friends. It rained on us but we still had fun and some kids even went surfing.

Now we are on the way to celebrate 4th of July in Madison!! Unfortunately, for us, Marlee stayed in Ormond with some friends to participate in some 4th of July parades. He is growing up way too fast!! :-(
