Europe Trip: Bye Budapest (Hungary) Hello Belgrade (Serbia) HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAFAEL!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SNUGGLY RAFAEL
2 YEARS OLD TODAY

We started the morning with singing for Rafael in our little room at the hostel in Budapest before hitting the road. Since we would be on the road for most of the day we did our best to celebrate him right there, on the road :-) That meant ice cream at a gas station and picking out a stuffed animal. Not much but luckily he is too young to understand... He picked a teddy bear from Sweden, of all the animals. Lol!!

Day 11: Driving from Budapest to Belgrade, spent then night in Sremska Mitrovica (=in the middle of nowhere...)

We continued the birthday celebrations in Belgrade where we went to Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress. They had some fun rides at the park so the boys got to do some of that. Rafael fell asleep right after but we still went to church of Saint Sava. It was actually closed for renovations but the sweetest man, who was working there, let us in to see the basement. It might not sound like much but look at the pictures!!! Would have been fun to see the whole church! Next time...
