Birthday party and bye bye Sweden...

We started September off with a birthday party for Noah. It was perfect! A small group of friends but it was exactly what they needed. The boys have surely been set aside because of the tremendous amount of work me and Alex have needed to do at and with the house. It has felt overwhelming and impossible at times but with the help of mormor and morfar we made it, at least to an accepted level, maybe bot as well as we had hoped for, but ok. Anyways, a birthday party and a fun-day was what we all needed. It started at the indoor swimming pool in Bro and then BBQ at our house. Alex even found a Piñata at the newly opened Dollar store :-)

I love seeing his genuine smile!!!

We have had time to see friends more than one time but far from as much as we would have wanted. The boys missed seeing friends, and so did we... But fixing the house could not wait...

Noah and Rafael

Alex cleaning moss from the roof. You can see the part he has cleaned off :-)

In trouble??

Ice cream break in between running errands

Our apple tree was delivering this year!!
One morning Gabriel had the great idea to have breakfast on the cliffs by the water. M and N had a sleep over so it was only me and the small ones :-) We packed a bag (that Gabriel insisted on carrying) and walked to the cliffs.

Gabriel blowing and kissing Rafael's knee after he had fallen

Harvesting is such a delight!!!

Just went for a quick walk with the kids in the forest :-) Chantarells, black trumpet muchrooms and and finger mushrooms.
We finally felt somewhat satisfied with how the house looked and that it was time to take off and explore Europe...

Day 1... Leaving Stockholm by ferry to Gdańsk, Poland...
