Europe trip: Lviv, beautiful city!

Day 6: Lviv, Ukraine - The high Castle, Opera house and The Latin Cathedral. Driving from Liviv to Lesko, Poland...

The Lviv High Castle or Lviv Castle Hill is a historic castle (now a ruin) located on the top of the Castle Hill of the city of Lviv. It is currently the highest point in the city. It was first built in 1259 but rebuilt several times. In 1704, when Lviv was occupied by Swedes the castle was heavily damaged. Now the remains are a tourist attraction which offers a great view of the city.

Walking up the hill...

On the top!

The Opera house

We found the perfect babysitter!!

On the way back to Poland we passed many many very cute and beautiful churches!
Found an old Castle where we stayed in Lesko, Poland, for the night! It was the cheapest place we had stayed at and it was the first to include breakfast! What a deal!!!
