Europe Trip: Bosnia and Herzegovina

Day 13: Sarajevo - Mostar - Kravice Falls (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - Cavtat/Dubrovnik (Croatia)

A beautiful drive with exciting stops along the way. And a surprising road pick by the GPS late at night...

Beautiful drive through Bosnia and Herzegovina...

First stop: Mostar and the Old Bridge

On the bridge

The market in Mostar

Old Bridge in the background

Bullet holes and bigger holes, too.
More bullet holes from the war :-(
 Second stop: Kravice Falls. Beautiful!!!

Close to the Croatian border the GPS took us on a shortcut???

  1. WOW! Beautiful trip!! In 1984 the Reitnauers and us drove from Munich to Athens but all the way on the "coast road". No GPS then but we were stopped in then Yugoslavia by the military and "rerouted". We ended up on what we still call today the "GOAT PATH". Yours looks familiar. But we actually picked up a goat herder, gave him a ride about 50 miles because he knew where we wanted to go - AND WE DID NOT! Love, Farfar
