Sunny Days!!!

We have had some great warm and sunny days but today it was a little chilly again and cloudy. Pretty nice I must say after some very warm days. It always makes me feel bad if I spend a lot of time inside when the weather is gorgeous. Here in Sweden you never know how many nice warm days the summer will have in stock and Swedes tend to run outside as soon as there is sunshine. We really appreciate the sun :-)

Eating apples out on the deck in
my "I love dad" t-shirt

Being entertained by a raw potatoe
while mamma is peeling the others

Marlee has used his inflatable pool during the warm days and he really enjoys it!!

Being bored in the bathroom while mamma is getting ready in the morning... Playing with a (non used) toilette brush.

Bored!

We have also practiced walking a lot, which is so much fun. He hardly crawls at all now. I need to keep a close eye on him all the time now but it is also making some things easier when he can walk on his own. Going in the stroller for a long time is not popular at all anymore, unless it is naptime... Jackie, the black and yellow shoes you gave Marlee is perfect to walk in!

Today we took a walk down to the mail box together. Here in Sweden people normally have their mailbox next to their house, just like in the States, but in "summer house neighbourhoods", like our, they are sometimes gathered in one spot.

Streching in the doorway after the long walk :-)
(he walked up there and stood in this position
and then laughed and did it again :-)

I will have some friends over tomorrow for coffee ("fika") so tonight I spent time baking. Something I really enjoy when I have some time! Alex took care of taking Marlee to sleep which took a loooong time today

Chocolate Meringue, Dreams, Rasperry
caves and Chocolate Ship Cookies
(all from scratch in case anyone was wondering ;-)

  1. Marlee verkar ungefär lika bra på "hit" som Bosse när man är ute och går...=) Och vad du är grym på att baka! Chokladmaräng?! mmmm, just like France!
