Beds, birds and beach (and bug)

It has been a while and we have been busy. I am feeling good but very pregnant and I walk/waddle very slowly sometimes. The boys are all good.

They rearranged their beds and seems to like their new big bed :-)

Pool fun over at a friend's house. Gabriel has no fear of the water!!-

Seeing these chickens walking around in the back yard makes me so happy!! I don't like keeping them in the cage!
We got to spend Saturday on the beach with the Fisher family (it was a special day for them) and it was so nice!! They organized games and barbecued. The kids had a blast and Alex and I had a great time, too!

Putting rubber bands on a water melon waiting for it to explode!!! It finally did and half of it went straight up in the air. So cool!!

Gabriel was rather in the little pool under the umbrella than in the ocean!

Frozen t-shirt contest! One had to unfold and put on a frozen wet t-shirt. Alex's was like a block of ice so he could hardly unfold it at all.

The birds got a little house in their cage (painted by Noah more than a year ago). They seems to like and Quack (the white one) had been in it several times :-) Linn, do you recognize it?

Gabriel with me at the midwife appointment yesterday. I wonder why he likes this place so much ;-)
Alex's cousin Butter donated money to a turtle nest on the beach and they hatched a few days ago. Some of our friends even saw some of them crawl to the water!! So cool! They are the biggest turtles and it takes 25 years before they can have babies. The people doing the digging thought that this was eggs from a young mother because a lot of them were not fertilized and they were not deep enough. Of the eggs that they dug up, 18 had hatched, 4 had not yet hatched and the rest was not fertilized. They were all put back in the hole after. Some of the "eggs" on the picture are a lot smaller than the others (to the right). They are called spacers and are not real eggs but things the turtles put between the eggs so that they will not beak each other. So smart!! The Leather back turtle's eggs are so heavy and that is why they do that. Most turtles don't.

Digging out the remaining eggs
When the turtle digging was over we all went swimming. It was a beautiful evening!!!

Marlee and Noah with their friends. Felicia in the very back with Eli and Andy. They came up two days ago :-)

So since I started writing this post things have changed. The boys are not good anymore, or at least not all om them :-( Marlee and Noah have caught some kind of stomach bug and have probably thrown up 20 times since it started 5:40 this morning (it is now 11:40)! It is the third time they get something like this since January and Marlee only got it two times before that, in his whole life!! That is crazy, I think!! They have insisted to lay in the bathroom, probably tired of walking back and forth but at least Marlee is laying on the couch now... Poor boys!!!
