Happy 2014!!!!!!!!!!

Back in Ormond since .... a while... Our life is almost back to normal. Monday morning I drove Marlee to preschool but only to realize that they actually started on Tuesday... Ups! There was another family there as well so I was not the only one being mistaken... Poor Marlee got really disappointed, he was really looking forward to see his teacher and friends again. We went to the playground and library instead and he was happy again :-)

I am really going to try to be better at updating this so that each post does not have to be a short novel... Sorry about that, but lets look back now to see what we have been up to!

Before leaving Miami we met some old friends and Alex and I even went to a concert and Cory and Felicia babysat (and worked as Taxi drivers :-)

We left Miami and drove back to Ormond. We had a calm New Year at home with yummy food. We all went to Daytona where there was live music and lots of people. We Went on the Ferris Wheel, which Marlee enjoyed a lot!!! When we got back home, about 10:30, Alex and Marlee had a lot of fun blowing up fireworks. Alex and I were kind of disappoined because they were so tiny and silly but Marlee LOVED it which made it totally worth it!!!! We could just watch him having a lot of fun!

On New Years Eve some people have a tradition here to go swimming in the ocean. I think they want to feel a little like Vikings :-) Me and the children tool a walk on the beach to watch them. It was a rather rainy and grey day!

Noah has slowly started to eat by himself. Since we have a carpet under the kitchen table it is hard to let him be too messy but he has done very good.

I am still practicing to use dried yeast but it is getting better and better...

Noah has had a very hard time to go to sleep lately and sometimes he rather sleep on the floor than in his bed...

A few days ago we had a pretty chilli day and most people stayed inside (it was before we knew about yesterday, when it was freezing!!!). We went for a very nice walk in the forest next door. Both Marlee and Noah did very good walking and when we god home we had hot chocolate and hot sandwishes :-D

Last Saturday when Alex had his day off we all went to go bowling. It was a lot of fun! (I won :-)

As I mentioned earlier Noah has had some problems with going to sleep at night. He also has a hard time to go to sleep for his nap so the other day after "trying everything" I finally "gave up" and turned on the TV to watch something with both of them. Noah fell asleep pretty quick but Marlee seem to have stopped napping totally...
