The last days before heading south

Friday before leaving was a busy day. Long story, but I had to go into Stockholm to get a part for the stroller that I had bought online and not sent in time. It was the first time I took both boys with me into Stockholm together but it all went fine. They were such good boys!  In the way home we stopped to visit my grandma since we will be gone for a while. She is in a temporary home for elderly between the hospital (she broke her leg a while ago) and going back home.

After the dinner with Sofia, Aman and Mobi was waiting :-) We had a good time and Aman had, as always, cooked some great Indian food!!!

Saturday was spent packing, fixing passport for Noah and preparing everything for the trip.

Playdate week

This has been and is a very good busy week. We are meeting lots of other mums, babies and children. Very nice! Yesterday we went to visit Alexander and his mum and little brother. Alexander goes to the same daymum as Marlee and he is Marlee's age. He also has a little brother Noah's age :-)

Today we are all going to Sofia, Aman and Mobi for dinner. Looking forward to that!

Wednesday me and Noah visited a friend of mine and her doughter who is five weeks. She was the same size Noah was when he was born!

Sleep over

Friday we all went to the airport to drop off Alex who were going to Germany for work. Marlee, Noah and I continued to Petra, one of the other mums here to spend the day with her and her two children. We had a good time!

Later the same day Sofia and Mobi came over to stay the night. We all had a good night and Sofia and I stayed up and watched a movie after the boys had gone to sleep. It was nice to be able to spend the whole evening together and not have to leave early beacuse of the children needing to go home and sleep :-)

Today we have had a very good day, too. Sofia and Mobi left after we all had had a very good and long breakfast together. After dropping them off at the train station our neighbour came over to help me fix the roof where a "thing" had fallen off because of strong winds. Alex has fixed it before but not good enough, now we did it properly ;-) Girl power! Noah was sleeping while we were repairing and Marlee following us closley while drilling, screwing and hammering :-D

Both Marlee and Noah have been in a very good mood today and it seems like most things have run smoothly. Marlee has been a little difficult lately, probably both because of the age and because of getting a little brother and it sad to have arguements because of "non-cooperation" all the time about everything, but today the arguments were fewer than normal :-D It is so nice to see Marlee happy!!We built some nice train tracks that Alex would be jelous of!

What a day!

We woke up a little earlier than normal this morning to help a friend to take her teenager to the doctor at drop in. Him, me, Marlee and Noah ended up waiting there for 1,5h! I went there with two healthy children (Marlee and Noah) and felt like it would be impossible to leave as healthy, since everyone else there was sick... Well, I am still hoping for the best! :-D Dropped off Marlee at the "daymum" after the doctor and went home for lunch and nap. No nap because I realised that I need to get a passport for Noah for our trip to the US. Left home to fix that before picking Marlee up again.

My next setback! I could to apply for a passport because Noah does not have a last name registered yet! Long story, but now we are trying to register him as Bolzius asap and then apply for a passport, hopefully on Monday. We will then change the last name when we get back again but at least we have a chance to make it to the US now :-D Alex is dealing with the air lines since the ticket is booked in Newman.

Below are some pictures of things happening since last time I wrote.

A day at the museum with Emily

Yesterday Marlee got to spend the whole day at the Technical museum in Stockholm where they have a toy exhibition for children. He went with our friend Emily and three of her exchange students who are living with her.

Heaven!!

Marlee's and Noah's cousin arrived Oct 23rd!!!!!!

So the cousin of Marlee and Noah arrived a few days ago, October 23. He was even taller than Noah, 54 cm (21,3 inches), but not as heavy. Welcome little prince and congratulations Linn and Johan!
