HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABRIEL 3 YEARS OLD!! :-) and Good Bye mormor and morfar :-(

With all the help I get when mormor and morfar are here you would think that I get a lot done... But the reality is that while I do get a lot of things done that would normally take longer, I also want to spend as much time with them as possible.

I have not posted anything in sooo long and farmor and farfar left and mormor and morfar came back from their cruise. Then Gabriel had his birthday and turned 3!!! And then mormor and morfar went back to Sweden the day after. Now we are back to our normal life again.

Learning about the Boston tea party :-)

I have borrowed a wire binder from a friend. It is SO fun to create books with it!!

His favorite cabinet!!

It was the Cinnamon bun Day in Sweden so I had to bake some :-)

Date night for me and Alex while mormor and morfar was here.. Did not really turn out as planned because so many things were closed that night but we finally went bowling and had great fun!

Last weekend we went to Madison for a quick trip. It was surprisingly little damage from Irma! We had a good time with mormor and morfar and made it to the spring, too!

A praying mantis. It looks so weird!!

M and N raked bike tracks in the leaves.
On the way home on Sunday the car broke down! Luckily it happened right by a rest stop so we could "unload" mormor and morfar and all kids but Rafael, while me, Alex and Rafael took the Pickup to the mechanic to where the car was towed. We were so incredibly lucky. We found a near by tow truck, we found an open mechanic and we found the parts needed. 2-3 hours later the car was fixed and we were on our way home again! Mormor and morfar did wonderfully, keeping the boys busy at the rest stop for several hours with only bathrooms, vending machines and a board game!

And then the big day came... Gabriel's birthday!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY INDEPENDENT CHARMING GABRIEL!

He almost looked grumpy when he woke to us singing Happy birthday.

A boy and his sword... We ended the day at the Arcade and Gabriel picked a sword for his tickets.

The last Good night story for this time... :-(
When Aunt Elisabeth and Aunt Peggy was visiting the other week, Aunt Elisabeth took some beautiful pictures that she shared with us.
