It was time to start our 20h drive back to Florida. We had a few stops planned, both for Alex’s works but also for seeing new places. We planned a three day drive to get back.
Our first stop was the Lexington Greens where the Revolutionary war started on April 19, 1775.
Heck out his shirt, from when Alex was small.
On the road again… the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
.
Next stop, Arlington National Cemetery where 400,000 people are buried. Many important people have their graves here. We went to see J.F Kennedy’s grace as well as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the statue The Confederate Memorial.

Can you find the Swedish name on the list?
The Confederate Memorial
It is a beautiful and hilly cemetery.
J.F.K’s grave
Dinner time, always fun!?
Day 3 and almost back in Florida but first we visited with some dear friends who now live in North Carolina. The used to live in Ormond Beach but nowadays we mostly see them on the road - Montana, California and now North Carolina :-)
En lärorik resa på vägen hem. Bra för killarna.
