Flying back - Iceland and Boston, MA

Our flight back to the US we flew by Reykjavik, Iceland. Marlee was very lucky to be able to see the erupting volcano on Iceland. Quite amazing!

The boys and I flew back to Boston, MA, where Alex would pick us up and then all drive to Camp Constitution in New Hampshire. Me and the boys would have on day in Boston before Alex would get there so we do some exploring.

A very quick pizza break at Keflavik (Reykjavik airport).

First night back in the States. After standing in line for more than an hour for immigrations and customs at 2am (for our Swedish time brains, 8pm Boston time) the kids were exhausted and fell asleep very quickly.

We started our day in Boston with walking to a bear by play ground. However, it was very hot so after a while the boys wanted to go back home. We got some lunch from a near by gas station and then David took a nap. When he woke up we all took an Uber down town Boston.

A nice dinner at Paneras.

Alex arrived late and the next day we explored Boston a little more before heading north to camp. It was pretty rainy unfortunately but we decided to try to walk part of the freedom trail that starts downtown.

Granary Burying Ground where Paul Revere is buried. (I love this picture by the way :-)

Fun with the air coming out of the underground, possibly from subway system, but not sure.

Time to get dry and go north.
