Farfar, until we meet again

We are now on our way back to Ormond after a week in Miami. A week full of memories and sorrow, saying farewell to farfar, until we meet again. But also a week full of love and good memories of him. The funeral was yesterday, Saturday and a lot of people showed up. You could tell that he was very loved by many. After the service we all met at the house.

A slide show of pictures of farfar played on the TV and Rafael stole my camera and filmed a small part of it. The first picture is of Buddy and Alex. 

Despite the situation and the reason for us coming to Miami this time we also had some normal times with schoolwork and boat rides.

On Friday they showed a documentary in the movie theaters that alex was in. Unfortunately, he had a scheduled show at the same time and could not go to see it but I did.

There were a few friends from Ormond who came to the funeral. We had some time at a park with some of them in the morning. Merrie Christmas park has the absolute best trees for climbing and we did not even go to the playground :-)

This morning before everyone drove back home. It was so nice that all the siblings could stay in the same house!!

Farfar, it was hard to say farewell yesterday but I am grateful for all the friends and family who came and that we could all be there together. ❤️ Until we meet again!
