Meanwhile in the Bahamas…

As I mentioned, Alex and the four older boys were out of the country last week. They all went to the Bahamas with some of Alex’s family. The rest of us could have joined them but it would just have been too much work with a newborn and David, and the thought of being home alone with only two kids sounded pretty good :-)

The past week - in Ormond…

It has been a pretty quiet and calm week at the Newman house. Alex and the four oldest boys have been out of town, even out of the country (more about that in the next post)!! Only David, Maria and I have been home and it has been bc so nice to get to focus on the two of them and just slow down in general. Of course we missed them a lot even if we enjoyed the more quiet life style for a week.

David has been a great helper! He is so responsible and wants things to be right.

Dinner date at a fundraiser for one of our favorite local politicians (and a friend to the family).

David has brought “lasts gris” (throw the pig) and played it with a friend’s kids at the fundraiser and he said that was the best part of the day! 

Yep, we all slept in our big bed :-)

We have had a great week that went pretty fast (we got quite a bit done while the house was “empty” but we are glad to have everyone back again!!!

Maria 1 month old!

As I’m a little behind here I’m just now posting pictures of Maria one month old! She was one month August 31… Time goes way too fast and she grows too fast… on her last check up she was 10lbs 5oz/4,7kg.

I didn’t have a perfect picture of her on her one month birthday so I combined a few around the date. The big picture is from her real birth day, the others are from a couple of days before or after. 

Labour day was not long ago. I think spent it with good friends and had a good relaxing day!

David really likes to join us for school and he has his own activities. He is great with numbers and math but has a hard time with colors.

Rafael and I went on a well deserved date and had ice cream together. I forgot to take a picture of him and the ice cream but this is in the car after :-)

She fell asleep while I was showering.

Happy birthday my new 12 year old sweet hearted Noah!! Once again I did not take many pictures but Noah spent his birthday with friends. First in de Leon springs and then at home having a sleep over with another friend.
