Puerto Rico Trip!!!

 Alex had a speeding trip to Puerto ático for a week and they offered to pay for the whole family to come!! Except for a pretty rough trip there and back it was a great week! Very busy, with several events but we also had time to explore a little, and all the people we met were so nice! 

We started of by missing our plane from Orlando to San Juan (PR). A misunderstanding with the time made us think the plane left one hour later than it did  we managed to get new tickets on a plane three hour later and ended up leaving Orlando at around 11:30pm. The 2.5h flight and the one hour difference made us land at 3am in Puerto Rico. The people who had invited us and who took care of us during the week met us at the airport despite the very late (early) time and took us to our Airbnb. A great house with a small pool table and an arcade game!! The boys were happy!

The master bedroom was interesting as it had the bathroom in the bedroom… including the toilet. 

Our first day in Puerto Rico we did not have anything schedule until the evening so after getting some sleep we drove up to the rainforest, El Yunque. It was so much fun! It was raining part of the time, after all it was a rainforest! 

We stopped and climbed up a tower with a great view from the top. 

Next stop was a walk up to a waterfall. Marlee was the only one brave enough to go swimming.

Despite sleeping in we were all exhausted after Alex’s speaking event in the evening and got a good sleep at night. Had to wake up early the next day to drive to Cabo Rojo.
