I’m here to catch up again! Have realized lately that several pictures on the blog have disappeared into cyber space. It seems to be a problem with the app I’m using but some experts online also said that there is not really anything better either… :-( I’ll try to update the missing pics as soon as I get a chance.
As mentioned summer break is not really here for us yet but we probably do school 2-3 days a week only while we work on finishing the last pieces of school. I have also started to plan next school year which is always exciting!
A great picture of my way too fast growing Marlee!!
Soccer season is over now and it was a very exciting end of the season. Marlee’s team got second place in their group which we where so happy about.
A family that we known, whose younger boys are very good friends with our boys have, their oldest son in the hospital and he has been in ICU (intensive care unit) for a month now. They spend every day in the hospital and has therefore needed a lot of help from family and friends. We have helped in a few ways but mainly by having their boys over, which we do every ones in a while anyways. And it has been great fun!
A couple of weeks ago we bought half a cow!!! We needed to get better meat (less meds and chemicals) and cheaper and this was a great way. It was a lot of meat!! It tastes delicious!!
Lizzy likes to join me and David when I put him to sleep at night. She doesn’t not like to cozy with us but likes to just hang around. :-)
A very happy Gabriel after his last game.
And with his favorite fan :-)
Noah got to go with a friend to Kelly spring to type down the “river”. A great day for these boys!!
Orlando Homeschool Convention!!! One of the most important events of the year for me 😃 This year was a little different though. I normally leave the family at home but this year alex spoke at the convention so we all went and I “brought” my friend’s daughter to help with the kids. She has come with us before and my friend was going anyways.
Fitting 7 people in two queen size beds. Actually Gabriel slept in his sleeping bag on the “couch”.
It was very different to have the family with us. I could not focus on the school material as good as normal but it was a lot of fun to show the boys all the different booths and different companies who were there, several hundred different vendors.
Not all vendors sold homeschool material.
We have not been out on the boat much lately but the other day we finally had time and the weather was nice. All the boys (except David) and their two friends got to go on the boogie board behind the boat.
Friends over again :-)
