Day 28: Drive to Mylopotamos beach and hiking on a goat path...
25 years ago (!!!) I went to this beach with my mum and my friends from Volos (Greece) and I remember it being soooo beautiful and had fun snorkeling, too. So obviously we had to go there while staying in this part of Greece. The drive there was a little crazy because of very small road but we made it there and parking was better than in most places in Greece. Lol!
However, when we saw the beach from the parking lot, which is high up above the beach, we could hardly recognize it. The wind and the big waves made the beach so small and it is low season so not a single person was there. During the summer it is packed. It was still beautiful :-)

No swimming today... |
Walking to the third beach |
Ice cream break |
So, from the third beach we had planned to go on a little hike to a fourth beach. It was supposed to be about 1km or so. But, somewhere we must have made a wrong turn because we ended up on a smaller and smaller path and finally it was so steep and so tiny we had to turn around. Me and my parents had to pass Gabriel and Rafael between us to get them down because it was so steep.
Right before we decided to turn around |
Back at beach #3, climbing on a big rock in the ocean |
Marlee and Noah found sea salt in some small "pools" in the rock where the water had evaporated |
Silly boy!!! |

Day 29: Quick visit with my friend in Volos
We have become somewhat used to sharing the road with all kinds of creatures during this trip. Lol! |
Day 30: Rainy day spent mostly inside. School work and Lego
Breakfast outside |
Surprised by the rain :-) |
