Ormond February life

In order to catch up (it is now mid June...) I will do a posts covering a whole month at a time, so here we go!

Beach fun on a foggy day

It was freeeezing in the water, but he is tough!

I guess not taking a nap have consequences...

I never get tired of taking pictures of them sleeping...
We had a field trip to Jacksonville to see a symphony play. It was to educate kids so they talked about the instruments and while they payed the music they talked about which instruments were playing. A neat idea.

During February Marlee and Noah were working on a "project" where they blew up a balloon inside another balloon. That way you did not have to tie the outside balloon but it would still be inflated! :-)

Marlee played basket ball during the spring for a few months
Trail life (which is very similar to the scouts) have had several events during spring. One of them was in a one of the state parks where they boys made their pine wood derby cars as well as playing :-) They also got to "surf" behind pick up truck which was great fun!

This is easy peasy!!

A very focused Gabriel

There are also some videos below of the "surfing" :-)

It was a happy gang sitting in the back of the pick up, watching one kids on the boards

Catching flies!!

Guess no nap again...

Walking Rafael to sleep a cold winter night

Good morning!!!

A very very very big fort in the playroom and part of the kitchen

We have used the boat a few times since we came back from Sweden. It is so nice to get out and explore!

Raffi is happy to be driving!

Skinks "socializing"

Raffi and Gabriel are having a friend over and they are building something...

Sorry, more sleeping boys...

And some more...

He lost a tooth and it fell into the lego box... We still haven't found it...

Science experiment at the CC coop

Art class for Noah

Some of my favorite videos...

Last days in our house and Hello Ormond!

We sold our house and Sweden. We will miss it (especially the children) but are happy to have one less thing to take care of.

We rather eat dinner with friends than with furniture :-)

Bye bye house!

This is what is left of our Swedish home...

On the plane we got mamma's favorites :-)

Back in Ormond

Walking down to the beach early early...

Look at this guy if you are having a bad day!

He fell asleep with the head light on his head, and it fell down. Now he is a pirate!
For about two weeks we had some friends staying with us, a mom and her two daughters.

Alex reading for the kids.

Little Christmas with farmor and farfar :-)

And that was January i Ormond!

Hello 2019!!!

We started the year off with a storm resulting in no phone reception, no ferry going to and from the small island (Fårö) we were on and no electricity. Luckily my parents have two fire places in their house and we could get drinking water. We could also boil water on one of the two fireplaces to make coffee, pasta etc.

Playing fun games in the dark...

We were lucky to be able to get on the ferry back to the main land as planned. Since we had sold our house outside Stockholm, we had endless things to take care of! However, I really really wanted to go up and visit my sister up in Ã…re before we left Sweden. We did not really have time for that but I had never been there since she moved up a few years ago so we decided that me and the kids would go with mormor and morfar while Alex would stay home and work, and pack up our house.

Since we could not all fit in mormor's and morfar's car me and Marlee took the night train up which actually resulted in that I only missed two days of packing and fixing with our house. And, it was sooo nice to be able to do something with only Marlee! We had a very good time on the train!

Taking the "pendel train" into Stockholm

No train ride without snacks!

We arrived to Ã…re early morning and we had a great day with my sister and her family, and mormor and morfar! We started the day with a long walk up a mountain. Before sledding down hill we had some snacks and then we had great fun going down!

Short break before sledding down

Me and Rafael fell, but not badly, as you can see on his smiley eyes :-)

We had a delicious waffle lunch when we got back and then me and the boys went to see a friend of mine, from when I grew up, who also lives in Ã…re, with her family.

The second and last day we went SKIING!!! Marlee has done it a few times, second time for Noah and first time for Gabriel. It was so much fun and Linn had manages to borrow all we needed from her friends. The only sad thing was that the cousins, Ailo and Björn did not feel very good that day.

Me and Noah in the lift

After two wonderful days in Ã…re me and Marlee got on the train back again and the others left the next morning. Now we really had to focus on moving out of our house and getting back to Florida.
