Fascinating weather

Started out as a very windy day and the beach was not an alternative. I felt adventures and took the boys to Digerhuvud where the Raukar are (big lime stone rocks). Our neighbour/Marlee's friend Victor came with us with his parents and we had fun on Digerhuvud. There were big waves and big rocks to climb. Marlee was fearless as usual. I was just like him when I was his age so I can understand him but he still makes me nervous sometimes!

It's been a hard day!
After all the fun we ended up going to a garage sale with my friend Johanna to buy some more toys :-) She also joined us for a "fika" at a small cafe here. One of the most kid friendly ones!

The boys had fun at the cafe, too!

One of the boys were gone...

... when I came into the bedroom.. Noah was missing from the bed!

I had to look around before I found him and I have non idea how he could end up there without waking up and without me noticing it!?

Gorgeous day on the beach!!!

The sun came and the heat came and we came...to the beach!! A beautiful day at the beach and the boys had so much fun! I have been a little worried that they would have been spoiled with the warm water in Florida and not wanting to go swimming here in Sweden but I could not have been more wrong! Even Gabriel has happily been splashing in the water and I love how kid friendly the beach here on Fårö is.

Tennis and Soccer

Today I had my very first tennis march ever. It was a lot of fun even if I lost. I surely had the best supporters though! Tomorrow we are all going to watch my friend Johanna play and I am sure the boys will be great supporters for her, too! She is a lot more likely to win her match since she actually plays tennis on a regular basis, unlike me who has played tennis about 5-10 times in my life :-)

After lunch we walked down to the beach since the sun was shining. It was not very warm but we are not so picky after all the rainy days ;-) I played soccer with Marlee, and some friends and Noah played with his cars. Later my cousin Bjarne and his wife came by since they are on the island for a couple of days. It was great to see them, last time I saw them was in Miami in December, and they stayed for dinner as well. They live less than an hour drive from us in Stockholm (in Uppsala) so it is funny how we end up seeing them so far from Stockholm all the time and not at home!

Picking Wild Strawberries!!

Great day even if the sun did not burst. Went wild strawberry picking before lunch and cleaned out the car in the afternoon.

Too cold and too much rain but the sun came back today!

The rain kept coming and the temperature kept dropping and we got more and more desperate for some summer weather! And today finally! The sun showed up and we spent some time on the beach. We even went swimming even if the water was pretty cold. Gabriel thought it was too cold.

While having several rainy days we tried our best to enjoy that, too. Lots of walks and activities indoors such as baking, playing games, reading, drawing etc. But honestly, it gets hard to entertain the boys for so long inside and with a baby it is not easy to be outside a lot. Luckily Marlee had his soccer camp every morning and Saturday morning (yesterday) was the last day.

In the oven, Noah's are the bottom ones and Marlee's in the top one

It apparently tasted good! :-)

Final result! Marlee's. The color is colored marshmallows.

This is how cold it has been outside!!!!

Having fun with morfar!

Fårö flee market was organized during the past week as well and mormor was selling rag carpets that she has made. They are soooo pretty!!! She did good and we were there visiting her and looking at all the nice things sold at the market. Marlee got to go horse back riding as well, Noah did not want to.

And as I mentioned, today the sun came back!!!
