Visiting the playground

Marlee and I have run some errands today and we also went to a very fancy playground with Sofia and Mobi (who gave Marlee his Indian outfit). Marlee had a great time. His favorite was the slide :-)

We have had a good Easter with one exception... Alex is getting too good at Croquet... No, but Marlee has been pretty whiny and we do not know why. There might be new teeth coming or it is just a phase... Hope it will pass by quickly! The thing about Alex was, unfortunately, true though...

We all went to visit my farfar today and Marlee wore his "Indian outfit", clothes that he got from my friend who spend a lot of time in India. Super cute!

Happy Easter

The sun has been shining for at least a week now and we enjoy it every day in the garden. Marlee is happy to help out with a lot of different things. He is also enjoying his sandbox and walking. He walks more and more every day but he is doing it slowly. Crawling is still a lot faster than walking. Today we had some friends over to BBQ and we have had a great time. Marlee did not want to sleep though. Being so tired, maybe he was a little more unstable than normal and at one point he fell in one of the stairs (while holding my hand) and hurt his lip. It was bleeding a lot and he got a fat lip, but recovered quickly.

Barfing Booger

Marlee has been sick for a few days and barfed. He seems fine between the "barfing" but cannot eat much. Poor little thing. We were planning on going to the zoo tomorrow but we will see how he is. I am so happy to have a proper working washing machine days like this!!

The other day we bought a croquet game and Alex and I have been playing it. Though, I kick his butt :-) He is probably the worst looser (best winner (Alex's comment)) I know (this old) ;-)

Maybe a little crazy!?

But the thermometer said 25C (77F) and it felt so nice outside, so I decided to give Marlee a bath outside. With nice warm water from inside of course :-) We have to remember that he is only 50% viking! ;-) He surely enjoyed playing in the water and did not show any signs of being cold.

He also spent part of the day practising his floorball skills!!

It is April 12 2011, Marlee is 1 year and three weeks old and...

... he walked properly today for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
