Mormor and morfar are here!!!

I have taken such a long break from the blog so now I have to catch up in steps. This will therefore be step 1 in my recap series :-) 

As my title mentions mormor and morfar was here!!! They stayed with us for two weeks, which is how long they normally stay. It was a great help for me and we did a lot of fun things. The boys got skip school while they were here and we only did 1h of math during their whole stay :-)

In the beginning of their visit we went to see Charlie Brown’s Christmas in which several of kids’ friends were in. It was a lot of fun!

Birthday party at some friends home in De Leon Springs.

Trip to Washington Oaks gardens. A lot of the park was still closed after hurricane Ian but we explored what we could. 

Of course mormor and morfar brought Swedish candy for everyone! Some did not look to appetizing…

 


Mortar helped us finish our new wall project! I think it turned out pretty good :-) I’ll post some before and after pictures asap. 

School, Reformation Day, Jax, Miami …

I updated this post yesterday and then, when I posted it, all the text disappeared. So forgive me that there is not much text to the pictures.

Visit to aunt Cindy and uncle Danny. Alex had a speech at their church so we all went to see family. 


Uncle Troy also came to the speech and he took the boys to the Lego store in Jacksonville after. Guess if they were happy!!??

The other day when Gabriel was in the backyard with Bubbles a possum fell down from a tree!!! I think they are just disgusting and called Bubbles back in so she would not get bitten and told

Gabriel to stay away. The possum didn’t move it just hissed at Gabriel. Yuck!!




Science project at coop. Rafael’s class. This is one of my favorite science experiments, setting up the solar system with the planets in proportional size using different size balls and beads. Distance from the sun is also proportional.

Bowling. We meant to go ice skating since we couldn’t for Gabriel’s birthday but the rink was closed so we ended up bowling. Saving ice skating for another day.

Alex took the three middle boys to Miami to visits farmor, uncle Cory and the cousins, as well as picking up some things for de Leon springs. It gave me and Marlee some extra time together, with David of course :-)

The boys had a great time in Miami as you can see! :)








All boys back in ormond and took them all to a symphony/orchestra/ballet/opera in Orlando with some other families. It was awesome!! Education and fun. 

He is pretty good at his puzzles :-)

The last tadpole… it is hives and very scarred. I cannot get a good picture of it. No signs of legs yet. 


That was all for this time. Now we are just waiting for storm/hurricane Nicole to arrive.
