Some friends so ours got a new camper so we joined them for a weekend camping. It was great to get to be outside and the kids had lots of fun!
Catch and release pond at the camp ground
Our fifteen people tent :-)
Apples in the woods...
Our friends' small camper :-D
On the way home Alex took Marlee and Noah to an activity with trail life and I drove back home with Gabriel and Rafael. They were both sleeping when we found this on the road, a trailer with a monster truck on it!!! I was so sorry all the boys in my family missed out on that!!
The kids and their friends waiting for a rocket ship to leave earth...
Our CC coop had a commerce day in March where we met at a park and the kids got to sell things. It had to cost one dollar or less. Marlee and Noah decided to mix their own trail mix and they did a great job! They bought all the ingredients and weighted them to make sure they all had the same amount of everything and then they glued small labels on each bag with a list and amount of all the ingredients. I was really proud of the effort and time they put into it!
Preparing the snack bags
Some friends brought their Bearded Dragon to the com day
Noah by his table selling Trail mix

We went down to the beach for a quick visit before going to dinner... then this happened....
When your older brother (Gabriel) helps you out after you hurt yourself...
These two!!! Rafael calls Noah "Funny Bunny"
When Alex was gone for work and I came home from coop I found this... The bathroom had flooded and the bedroom was flooded... It did not look bad at all until you stepped on the carpet and the water was splashing... It was all dried out by a company who came over quickly but what an adventure....
Time for a boat trip!!
Exploring an island (and picking trash)
Getting ready to go under US1...
The end of the tunnel..
We went to explore a park with some friends in Port Orange but we did not get any further than this stream...
The kids had so much fun in the mud and the water!!!
Gabriel is cleaning off Rafael
March 23 - Marlee 9 years old!!!
Singing and gifts in bed. He got to pick breakfast, which meant donut,
soda and lucky charms with marshmallows!!! After breakfast Marlee and I
went to the skate park. It was the first time for me, it is normally
Alex who go with them, and Marlee wanted only the two of us to go. It
was lots of fun to see him ride, until he fell and broke one of his
front teeth... He kept going and did not mind that much.. Lunch was
spent at Chuck e Cheese with Noah, pappa and some friends while I
prepared cake at home and more friends came over when they got back. I
have never ever prepared so little for a birthday but it ended up being a
great day and Marlee got to make most of the decisions :-)
Happy Birthday to you!!!
Best buddies!?
We should do this more often... outdoor painting. I had little shelves from Ikea that the boys painted and decorated.
I love this picture!!
Sorry, had to add these pics. I never get tired of watching them sleep. It can be cute, peaceful or just a big pile! Lol!
I am just a couple of months behind and I don't want you to miss out on our incredible trip in Europe and our adventures when we got back to Florida (and I want to have a good log of it) , so, i keep updating as I have time. Please, be patient with me.
In order to catch up (it is now mid June...) I will do a posts covering a whole month at a time, so here we go!
Beach fun on a foggy day
It was freeeezing in the water, but he is tough!
I guess not taking a nap have consequences...
I never get tired of taking pictures of them sleeping...
We had a field trip to Jacksonville to see a symphony play. It was to educate kids so they talked about the instruments and while they payed the music they talked about which instruments were playing. A neat idea.
During February Marlee and Noah were working on a "project" where they blew up a balloon inside another balloon. That way you did not have to tie the outside balloon but it would still be inflated! :-)
Marlee played basket ball during the spring for a few months
Trail life (which is very similar to the scouts) have had several events during spring. One of them was in a one of the state parks where they boys made their pine wood derby cars as well as playing :-) They also got to "surf" behind pick up truck which was great fun!
This is easy peasy!!
A very focused Gabriel
There are also some videos below of the "surfing" :-)
It was a happy gang sitting in the back of the pick up, watching one kids on the boards
Catching flies!!
Guess no nap again...
