Spending the end of February with mormor and morfar

This is probably  the longest "break" I have had from posting here... It makes me a little sad that I have not had time/have not prioritized this more because it gives me such a good log of what we do, and I don't want you, who read this, to think that I have forgotten you... Because of of the long break there are a lot of pictures to post so I will first finish up the later part of February in this post and then make a new one for the beginning of March.

Our beach approach is being rebuilt (and has been for a few months...) so we are accessing the beach by the next one.

A boy and his board...

Is it just me or are the foot steps coming out of the sand?

He was grumpy and did not want to be in the picture :-)

He is surprisingly good at making "drop castles"

mormor is reaching Marlee a two-person-solitaire (I know that does not make sense in English :-)

Time for school work, reading

He is so fast! Got into the pool twice two times this day without anyone stopping him. Lol!

Rafael was exhausted and fell asleep on morfar

We went to the beach with about ten families and so many kids!

Wow, they are going swimming without any grandchildren!!!

Such sweet babies! Rafael and little Luke (about 6 weeks old)

A big turtle at the park!! It was not very shy either :-)

Mormor, morfar and I* went to the paint and party place one night. It might be the first thing I do with them, without kids, since Marlee was born!!! It was about time! We had a lot of fun! I am so glad we did it!

* Thanks for correcting me, Kathleen :-)

At the coop playground, with friends

Mormor and I went to get a pedicure together, second thing we did together without kids!!! Great relaxing!

At a birthday party at Rainbow park

Cupcakes are good!

A day in Ponce Inlet at a favorite restaurant and nice beach
That was the last part of the visit with mormor and morfar. They are now back in Sweden where we will see them once we go!

Mormor and morfar are here and with them came some bonus visitors

Mormor and morfar arrived to Orlando, only a couple of hours later then expected. Good that Internet keeps me updated so that I can wait at home and not by the airport :-)

The day after they arrived a friend of ours (my parents and I) from Seattle arrived to Orlando, too, to visit all of us. She has only met Marlee before and never Alex so it was really nice that they all got to meet her. Farmor and farfar arrived to Ormond soon after her so we have had a great time with visitors! Now it is only mormor and morfar left and it almost feels empty :-)

Science experiment at CC coop

While the big boys go to coop, the younger ones got to be at the beach...

Math class at the Friday coop (Noah's class)

Marlee's class, School yard games

Marlee showing Kathleen something on the computer

The whole family and mormor and morfar :-)

Just the drivers license missing
It was a gorgeous day today!!! Some school work and lots of beach time. The water was 68F/20C and the kids loved it. I thought it was good to walk around in, not so much swimming...

Rafael (morfar, Noah and Marlee in the background)

We made paths to walk and run in

It is fun to eat when mormor feeds you!

Back on track again, left the flu behind us

So the flu made it to our house for sure. However, it did not hit us hard as it did to many others, and we are thankful for that. The kids were hardly affected at all.

At the doctors office getting the flu confirmed. Apparently I had the cover up side down. Lol!

I had to get the kids out of the house for a little bit and found a deserted playground :-)

Already going against the stream!
Marlee and Noah insisted that I stayed in bed in the morning and this is what they had been doing. Soooo sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

Me not being sick anymore "Im not sick!"

Playing outside

One of his most recent project, to be really good a doing a wheely :-)

Just woke up from a nap

Snack break

There was a rocket launch the other day and we managed to see it :-)

We finally walked to the beach yesterday!!! Our beach approach is unfortunately closed due to rebuilding it but we have another ones within walking distance.

This is as good as it gets. Lol!!

Back home after a bath

Now we are patiently waiting for mormor and morfar to get here.
