The rain kept coming and the temperature kept dropping and we got more and more desperate for some summer weather! And today finally! The sun showed up and we spent some time on the beach. We even went swimming even if the water was pretty cold. Gabriel thought it was too cold.
While having several rainy days we tried our best to enjoy that, too. Lots of walks and activities indoors such as baking, playing games, reading, drawing etc. But honestly, it gets hard to entertain the boys for so long inside and with a baby it is not easy to be outside a lot. Luckily Marlee had his soccer camp every morning and Saturday morning (yesterday) was the last day.
Noah and Marlee are mixing their own made up "cookie dough"
In the oven, Noah's are the bottom ones and Marlee's in the top one
It apparently tasted good! :-)
Final result! Marlee's. The color is colored marshmallows.

Last day at the soccer camp
Free t-shirt for all participants. The previous minister of justice, Thomas Bodström, was the main organizer.

This is how cold it has been outside!!!!
Having fun with morfar!
Fårö flee market was organized during the past week as well and mormor was selling rag carpets that she has made. They are soooo pretty!!! She did good and we were there visiting her and looking at all the nice things sold at the market. Marlee got to go horse back riding as well, Noah did not want to.
Mormor is cleaning wool to make more rag carpets
And as I mentioned, today the sun came back!!!
Noah and morfar and playing with cars on the beach
Marlee is attending a soccer "camp" this week. It lasts for 1,5 hour in the morning and he really likes it! Today it was raining all morning but Marlee did probably not even realize it and I still enjoyed watching him play. Noah on the other hand wanted to go home pretty soon so he and morfar went home.
- I want to go home (and park my cars)!
A friend of mine came over after soccer and Marlee, Gabriel and me went for a walk with he in the woods. We found both blueberries and mushrooms. Sooo nice!! We also visited "Anka" (Duck) town in the woods, where people have left the rubber duckies :-)
Back home Marlee took his bike over to a neighbor's house to play and we went home and played with Noah and Gabriel.
Joahanna and Noah playing in the sand box
We did not find a lot, but we found some!
And they taste sooooo good!!!
Noah doing part of the obstacle course (he did not hurt himself).
Gabriel's and my trip to Fårö started early this morning at 5am Shen we left the house. We drove to Nynäshamn and got on the big ferry that took us to Visby, Gotland, where we docked at 10:15am. After some shopping in Visby we continued to the next small ferry that brought us to Fårö where Marlee, Noah and mormor and morfar were waiting!
After some lunch Marlee and Noah showed me the obstacle course mormor and morfar have built (including a zip line!) and then we enjoyed the beach a little.
Marlee and Noah went with my parents to Fårö two days ago so that we could get some things done on the house and unpack. It is surely nice to get a break and have time to be a little more efficient but it is so quite here now and I miss them!! The first evening we enjoyed going to the grocery store at 8.30 without having to stress home and put boys to bed and we only had a salad for dinner :-)
Gabriel seems to be jetlaged and goes to sleep around midnight. He has been very ornery at night before he goes to sleep and nothing seems to satisfy him. Maybe it's a new phase or maybe he is just bothered by the heat when he is tired.
We went down to our local beach yesterday for a quick visit and the water was surprisingly warm! Gabriel got in without any problems!

Today we visited by granma, gammelmormor. So nice to see her again!!! She turns 99 in August!
I will keep this post short since I feel like have more things to take care of right now than I can handle and I don't want this to end up being a negative grumpy post I simply want to let you know that we arrived in Sweden ok. We are staying in our house. The trip over here was longer than normal but Gabriel who started the trip with high fever did not have any fever when arriving to Stockholm, Sweden!!
My sister and her family are passing through Stockholm now on her way north so me and the kids went to the zoo down town Stockholm with her family and mormor and morfar. We had a great day even if it was a little too hot.
