So much fun for one day, but we cannot forget that it is also New Years Eve!!! During dinner the snow came and the boys could hardly finish the food because they got so excited!

Alex’s and Marlee’s last day on Gotland

While we have been on Fårö the kids have built a pretty amazing fort in the woods. It was truly impressive!

Alex and Marlee were leaving Gotland this day to go back to Stockholm and the USA. They both needed to get back to work. Before dropping them off by the ferry we visited my God parents and the great museum Fornsalen. It has a lot of information and material from the mideval times. 

Fårö Fyr and the trampoline park in Fårösund

The day after Christmas (for Swedes), Christmas Day, some of us took a trip to the lighthouse on Fårö. It is such a magical place with the old light house, the rough ocean and the tangled trees.

One of the Christmas gifts from mormor and morfar was a visit to the trampoline park in Fårösund. They have very high quality trampolines and the staff was most helpful, teaching the boys back flips etc.

There were lot of games played this Christmas. A new favorite was the magnet game. So simple yet so much fun!!

Lots of card games, too.
