Did they know what was coming?

Today - Halloween, I wonder if Marlee and Noah could feel that it was coming because they both had a very hard time to sleep last night. Marlee had a fever so that caused some of the problems I am sure. However Noah woke up by midnight and did not want to go back to sleep either and he was good. Finally, about 3am they were both sleeping and did so until this morning :-)

When Noah wakes up from his nap during the day he normally needs to sleep more, so either I sit with him until he goes back to sleep or I put him on the floor with his dog and he will go back to sleep again :-)

Marlee still had some fever today but has been happy and did not really act sick. We have spent the day at home so that he would take it easy and not run around too much. At night both Marlee and Noah dressed up to go Trick or Treat. Marlee was wearing the costume farmor and farfar got for Noah, both because he really liked it and because Noah had another alternative. It was a little too small though, but Marlee did not care :-) He looked cool! Noah was incredibly cute!

Time flies

Time goes so fast, it is 10 days since I made a regular post. We have not done anything spectacular but of course there are plenty of great, cute, surprising and fun moments to share with you!

 I grow up with Hibiscuses so I am very happy that we have some in our garden :-) Right now they are blooming and I manages to take pictures of the flowers before the squirrels break them.

Baking

We went to a Baby shower for a friend last weekend and brought some cookies

Marlee put a little too much cinnamon on the oatmeal and agreed that there is such a thing as "too much cinnamon" :-)

Last Sunday we were waiting outside a restaurant for a table and I got some cute pictures :-)

Marlee was home from preschool today because he has a cough and we manages to get a lot of things done at home. We also practiced colors, letters and drawing circles around things. He did soooo good!!!!

Noah did not want to nap today and finally, at around 6pm, he almost fell asleep so I hurried to make him some food. I managed to feed him most of it before he could not stay awake anymore.

Marlee is still keeping up good without his binkey and he has hardly even mentioned it :-)

Today we have had a good day, lunch at Chick Filé, a few hours at the beach and then dinner with Curran's family.

 We will get to today's happening but first a short summary of the past few days. We have met Deborah, Curran and Brad a few times. Marlee and Curran play really good together and are just as fast and just as competitive :-)

Our AC stopped working and it got pretty hot in the house. Marlee slept with a wet towel.

 Ok, so what is this big day about you wonder! When me and Marlee was chatting this morning before getting out of bed he suddenly came up with the idea that he should send his binkeys to Santa, that he did not need them anymore. We kept talking about it a little and he seemed to have made up his mind so today we went to the post office, got a box and put the binkeys in it. Marlee also wanted to send some pictures so we put them into. Later we went by the post office and Marlee dropped the box in the mailbox! It took him two hours to fall asleep but he never complained and he did not even mention his binkeys. I am sooooo proud!! And I hope that he will keep up this good job!
