Wedding!

A friend at church got married last weekend! Which a beautiful wedding ❤️❤️ She is from South Africa and he from Bulgaria.

Perfect timing for this energy bunny to take a nap!

Gabriel played the piano during the communion and foot washing!

Just everyday life…

Somw of the kids’ friends were in a play that we went to see :-)

Gabriel and Rafael dressing up like pappa :-)

Sleeping beauty (David) ❤️

Our little cowboy girl posing in her boots ❤️

Maria is 1 year old!!!!

GRATTIS LILLA PRINCESSA!!!

She has become a strong willed and adventurous little girl. She knows what she wants and does not let her brothers stop her. Her favorite food is pretty much anything and anything is made for climbing, in her world. Water was scary in the beginning of her life but now there is nothing intimidating with walking out in the waves.

Sweet Gabriel is such a gift giver. He got Maria a mini purse that looks just like mine since she plays with mine all the time.

The past year, month by month..

Windows are in and birthday prep

The adjusted (adjusted to the architect’s mistake) windows are in!

Tomorrow it is Maria’s first birthday and we are going to celebrate her on the beach. For the first time we fought a beach “tent” to get some shade so me and the kids went to the beach to make sure we knew how to set it up :-) It was easy! It also works as a sail apparently :-)

Maria likes to put shells in her mouth when no one is watching! Here she is trying to “feed” Marlee.

Loooong drive home, the new house and beach

On the way back home from camp I got really sick  I honestly just wanted to  url up on the floor in the hotel room. But, we made it out of the hotel in New Jersey and back on the road. As Alex started to feel sick as well we decided to drive all the way home that day/night. We really did not want to get stuck somewhere, if we both got sick and could not drive. It was about a 14h drive and it was long! But we made it home, at five in the morning!! Honestly it is not that bad to be sick on the road, you can sit still and rest and don’t have to run after little children :-) Food is served when you want to eat and I was already feeling a little better when we arrived at home. Thankfully Alex did never get as sick as I was and mine didn’t last more than 3-4 days.

Back home again we went to see our new house and the progress they had made, new siding (board and batten) on the outside!

Baking ciabatta to prepare for guests coming over.

Beach time with friends.

Big sand flee!!
